This restaurant is a hidden gem in Kolkata. Not many people are aware that it's one of the oldest mughlai restaurants in the city and is serving some really good quality & affordable dishes. I was completely fascinated by their service, food and the restaurant ambiance. The tandoori roti, keema and tea that I tried out were all fantastic and served hot & fresh. Recommended for Mughlai lovers.

I had many varieties of biryani in my life but this biryani created memories with me, Evey bite of rice i can feel the aroma and spices mix, And cham Gravy was amazing I just wanna say one word it's an amazing food i had In my life

ZAKARIA STREET is famous for its food specially in this month of Ramadan or Ramzan. So , yesterday we went to taste the foods there. We reached there around 7 pm , the place was filled with crowds and was also filled with mesmerizing smell of different foods Islamia Hotel - As we reached there very late , mutton haleem was out of stock in maximum joints selling haleem , so we lastly found this islamia hotel where mutton haleem was still in stock . We ordered 1 plate mutton haleem which consists of 4 pieces of mutton , price - 210 . It was a much fulfilling meal , the taste was extremely good

We had chicken chaap and tandoori roti! The chaap was so tasty and the spices were so well balanced! We had the foods in Ramadan month and the weather was hot and humid. Though the food did not feel heavy on our health. Such is the quality of cooking!

The place is like any other hotel in colootola. What makes it different is it's delicious mughlai paratha and firni. These 2 can never go wrong here. Biryani is also a must try. Enough space inside and proper ventilation too since there are 2 entrances. Nahari is also pretty good here.

After a stroll at Zakaria street and our way back to the Metro, got 2 plates of Chicken Haleem(they ran out of Mutton) Service was okay(7/10),not coordinated properly. Quantity was below average 5/10 Pricing was overpriced as per the quantity and taste Taste: It was just above average, below decent. Doesn't taste like Authentic Haleem and tasted more like Chicken Rezala with brownish gravy. I and Dad were fine, but mom had a stomach upset within 2 hours of consumption.
