Just don't sell chicken popcorn on the menu if you don't know what it is actually. These were literally just flour balls with bits of shredded chicken found occasionally. Moreover the quantity is not all all acceptable for the price(Rs190). J14 has totally lost its earlier charm.
J 14 best is chicken tandoori, their chicken menu is nice. Ordered half chicken tandoori which price is 170. They are best in the menu.Their menu has lot of varieties of rolls, kababs.. But chicken tandoori is highly recommended.Packing is nice, they serve green spicy chatni and onion lemon. U just need to squeeze it on the top of chicken pieces and enjoy it.Best for evening outing.
If there were an option to rate it zero out of 10, I would love to give that rating. J14 is a famous brand in Guwahati, and we have been consuming their snacks since childhood. However, the last visit to their J14 Last gate branch was disappointing. A few days ago, my friend and I ordered a plate of momos and a cup of coffee. The momos they served were very basic and bland in taste, and the main issue was that their chutney was spoiled. When we informed the staff about it, all they did was smile and offer us more momos. I am at a loss for words. It's concerning that they are taking such risks and serving spoiled food to their loyal customers.
This outlet is the most spacious of the chain and there is moderate customers hence the quality of service and food is better along with the upscale locality atmosphere
Recently tried there famous Tandoori chicken, but that day chicken was not cooked well but overall it's taste good like tandoori chicken but chicken was not tandoor well !
J14 is known for its great taste, specially the chicken rolls are great, but after so long i went to the shop yesterday and ordered two egg rolls, it tastes so bad, that I need to eat something else after I took a bite, so I request J14 not to include egg rolls in their menu.
