ITANAGAR GUEST HOUSE cum HOME STAY - Hotel in Itanagar - Papum Pare, India

Excellent view of the mountains from the common corridor. Sitting here with a book or laptop was the best experience of this stay for me. Rooms are nice, clean with all required amenities (no wifi though), including a common kitchen space with induction, utensils and fridge. The staff are welcoming, friendly and super active. They'll make the stay totally worth! The property is about 3-4 minutes' walk from the main road. There are stairs and slopey ramps, so could be slightly problematic for people with issues walking. For others it's a great mini-workout. There are groceries, restaurants, auto-stands nearby, and shared tempos available for getting around on budget.

Did not meet our expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Not kids friendly at all as there is too much construction going on site. There is no lift and being on a slope, it was a struggle to get to the rooms on the 3rd floor. I would not recommend it for people travelling with kids or elderly. To top it all there was no water supply on the last day. Only saving grace was the service of the office manager Tali and the house keeping person Kamal.

Good Guest house... Kitchen facilities added extra value otherwise it is thought to go market from fourt floor every time as guest house is located fourth floor on a hill top and no lift. But good mountain view from balcony, manager and staff behaviour is nice. We have cooked our all foods but taken Tea & water from them which looks little costlier (Tea@60, water 500ml@20). Otherwise stay is good, peaceful and easy to locate.

People are very good, both the manager and the staff. There is a common bathroom, kitchen and dining for two rooms. But they were very clean and it was economic to do self-cooking. Room was small but nice. Nice balcony. We needed to remind them a bit about tea bags, sugar pouches etc. But the response was always good. The manager is there from dawn to late night and very helpful.

The hotel has small rooms and there is only 1 washroom between 2 rooms. If you are planning to stay with a group it's a big group. Also staff is very rude. Specially Mr. Mibon. Inspite of talking so softly either him regarding issue of washroom. He had been extremely bad rude and unhelpful.

What an amazing homely clean property! The place is tucked on the side of the hill, quiet but not too far from the main road where you can easily get tuktuks, each 2 rooms share a kitchen and toilet which is wonderful ! Great guy at the reception very helpful, kind and professional ! Had breakfast and dinner from their kitchen and it was yummy and clean Would definitely stay here when I visit in future !

It is quite and clean area away from chaos but still easy to connect. One thing I don't like about this place is that public transportation is not that available, sometimes we have to call taxi which cost us alot.
