Its okay. Huge collection of insects decorated in patterns and lot of details presented. Air conditioned hall. Photos not allowed inside.
One of its kind in the Country. Insect museum is in Coimbatore only developed by TN Agriculture University. Lot of useful information at one place available about insects which are about 90% of animal life on Planet. They charge nominal fee and photos and video not allowed inside. Recommend everyone to visit while in Coimbatore.
This is one of the very informative museum that we have visited. Museum is well maintained and it is worth visiting.
Closing time is bit early, so you need to plan your visit accordingly. They should have allowed photography inside.
I would recommend this place for children. They would love it...
This place might be boring if one is not interested to know about different types of insects that live with us in this world, but this museum has very huge varieties of insects preserved. The arrangements done over here is very neat. I would suggest management to provide guides to visitor so they might get more knowledge about these insects.

Didn't know this was the first insect museum until I went there. Situated in the insides of the Tamilnadu Agricultural University, this is one of a kind musuem which portays multiple kind of insects along with stages of life of some insects. Those who are enthusiastic about insects can have a blast here.
Got many inputs about insects and thier importance, Must visit. Can be improved with live beautiful butterflies. photos are not allowed. 50rs / head, 30rs for student with valid ID card
Amazing place to know more about insects. The guidance of the staffs is not proper. This museum repeats so many insects in different place. This is an ac museum. They have arranged insects in different shapes. The museum is in the shape of an insect. Then there is an auditorium in which they will show the movies of insects. Only once if you visit is enough not more than that. Live bees are kept. Even nepenthes plant also....
