INA Museum - Museum in Moirang - Bishnupur, India

This is the historical place and it shows how a single man try to help the Indians to get independence. He was doing a lot for our country. His route of Escaping is shown here as well much more things. I got spellbound at that moment. Suggest you to go and visit his bravery. He is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

The museum is small and decently clean but few of the things should be preserved better. Some important documents are attached to the boards/canvases with cello tapes and few of them are coming undone. I saw a hand-written letter by Netaji which is barely attached to the board. Documents of such National Importance should be FRAMED and preserved better. The content of the same letter should be printed and placed next to it, for the tourists to read it better. Some of the glasses are very dirty and had stains on them. Needless to say these should be spotless for people to clearly see. Museum has great potential and all the items curated are important, but if only presented more aptly! The area outside the museum could be well kept and turned into a park for people to sit down and enjoy. There's a river which has now become a drain and smelling horrible. Someone should step up and turn this place beautiful with plants, benches, and a river with the famous manipuri water lilies!!! No pictures of the museum because photography was prohibited.

This is a wonderful experience on its own. Can't describe the feeling in words. I was getting goosebumps looking at everything over there. This place is the 1st headquarters to the Indian National Army. The last pic of Netaji is also there and for sometime I couldn't take my eyes off that pic. Sharing some glimpses of the place.

This town in Bishnupur District of Moirang has a special place in the history of India's Freedom Struggle. It was at Moirang that the flag of the Indian National Army was first unfurled on April 14, 1944. The INA Museum which has a collection of letters, photographs, badges of ranks and other war memorabilia reminds the visitors of the noble sacrifices made by the INA soldiers under the charismatic leadership of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

Located in cc pur district. Entry fee is Rs 10 for adults. But as other places in Manipur, u will find corruption in ticket distribution here. The man alloting the ticket will keep all the money in his pocket and will allow u to enter and won't issue u a ticket copy. The museum have good collection of war material and weapons used during the world war.

It was an amazing experience watching out the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose remainings and pictures and got to know him better.. I saw the last available picture of Netaji in the Manipur airport which is now converted to army camp which I saw it yesterday itself... Being a west bengal resident it was quite interesting to know Netaji over here his whole journey... The place is well decorated n maintained but washroom is not maintained because we travelling from distance need to use it but water leaking is everywhere over there. So it's a request to the respective owners of the museum to kindly maintain it for the tourists.

It was full learning of events occurred between 1938- 1944 wrt Subhash Chandra Bose life and it's movement for independence.

- I recommend every citizen and specially youth to visit. How a Individual person from did a lot by alone, not doubt people support him. He visited all alone to many countries, meet formal authorities, make deals, created own army and lots. - We can watch here routs of his visit, his army INA, Photos, belongings etc.
