Good hostel to stay. There is a tv and a carrom board in common room. But food is not so good because one of the member is selected for menu deciding. He don't select good food items.

best hostel among any other hostel of 1st and 2nd year students.....its new,clean....everything is new in this hostel only the building is very old......i am ayan...batch of 2k16...room no 209(CLUB HOUSE)...

Infrastructure is good, bathrooms are regularly cleaned but wifi connection very very slow.I recommend not to take admission in IIEST SHIBPUR its just a fake in name of NIT...
Among the 1st year hostels u will get some extra facility and maintaince here.... although it's bit mew compared to other hostels
Infrastructure is good. Mess staff is also polite. Food quality and taste, as usual, is worse. Sometime you would starve here because of non-tasty food. Mess charges touches the sky here. One more thing you pay salary, Food, clothing, bonus and extra salary ,even when they do not work, to the mess employees. We were asked to gift them mobile phones. At last, you will regret living here.
