Howrah Junction railway station - Featured Reviews (1335)
Howrah Junction in West Bengal, India, is a major and one of the oldest railway stations in the country. With 23 platforms, it's one of the largest railway complexes, connecting major cities. The station offers good facilities like clean surroundings, pure drinking water, and ample washrooms. However, the maintenance varies between the old and new complexes. The old complex is well-kept, while the new complex is often dirty and crowded. It's the busiest railway station in India, providing various amenities such as a station lounge, food court, and taxi services outside. Be cautious of overpriced local taxis; prepaid options are available.

One of the largest railway complex but very poorly maintained and unhygienic, always over crowded. 23 platforms and outside you can get prepaid taxi, don't book from locals as it's overpriced.
The vintage, historical ,biggest railway station in eastern India offers a clean and comfortable access to innumerable stations for reaching every nook and corner of the country. Facilities are modern and affordable. Only area is containing the non passengers from encroaching the platforms day and night. It causes discomfort and spoils the ambience.
