Out of the two rooms we stayed AC was not working well in one.Tried to change the room however the other two choices had the same issue where the AC temperature once set kept on increasing on its own.Overall hygiene was average. No elevator. Wifi there only in lobby, this is a plus point in andaman as other hotels there at times dont even offer that.Service was good. The staff was good. Dont have the veg noodles portion size is small and doesnt taste good. Dal fry and rice was good.
Not as expected. Ac's in some rooms were very noisy (as i used 3 rooms in 4 days) that like it snoozes and wakes us after every 10 mins.locality was bit quite and nearby the main market. food in restaurant was good, but not so delicious.room service was very good and the boys were very helpful. overall nice stay (after i switched off that ac)as all we have to do there is to only sleep at nights.
I stayed there for 2days on 27-28 feb 2019. Rooms are very small. Toilet was very bad , all taps were leaking. There was no wi-fi. TV was there but only free channels were available. Intercom was not working and there was no room service. Overall very bad experience.
- It's budget hotel for couple. - Hotel is near to Airport, Cellular jail and Andaman sports complex. - Rooms are small even for two people. - Food quality is nice But multiple selection not available (staters are not available) - Staff are not professional but they are property trained. - wifi connection not available in room,it's only in Reception area from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm and wifi speed too slow.
We stay there in family room on 21 Jan 2018Hotel location was good. It's was easy to reach from all location. Food was good. Rooms were clean. Lil problem with room ac and bathroom. Room ac was not effective and sometimes bathroom was out of water, we needed to ask room service to start water supply.
Hotel rooms might look good in pictures, but as said they are good only in pics. It is one of the worst hotels in Port Blair. There is no cleanliness in rooms. Rats and lizards are common friends in rooms. Staff is also not cooperative. They are rude. There is a sewage drain flowing nearby, which makes odor in rooms horrible. It gained one star due to its closeness to market, but one should not stay here.
Hotel velocity is located near the main ghatna ghar market. Hotel is overall good, food is nice, service is good and prices are fine. Just go for front rooms for better sunlight view as other rooms have natural light issues. Bathroom is the only thing on which they need to work.
Hate it. 1. Cockroaches in the room. Complementary breakfast was sandwiches and packed juice(local company). Refused to cook eggs for breakfast saying we do not cook non vegetarian in the morning. Sic. 2. Internet works only at the reception, they don't share the password also. 3. Rooms are very small. Bathrooms are even smaller a day filthy. 4. I booked room for two days and after a day they asked me to checkout stating that you have not confirmed your stay. 5. I ordered veg fried rice, it was smelling like burnt. A lot many other problems.
