Hotel The Shah Imperial - Hotel in Gwalior - Gwalior, India

We have attended a party here. Location is in the middle of the city but parking of four vehicle is an issue. Service is good enough in party hall but lift not operational during late hours.

A Warning for anyone who chooses this place to stay in the future: Poor time management, poor people management, on top of rude behaviour with a customer by the Front Office Wasim & one leady . One of the worst Hotel experiences of my life so far was when I, along with my family, were asked to wait for 2 hours despite booking two Room's well in advance at more than a reasonable price. The Shah Imperial , Gwalior is run by a third class GM along with a few bad Staff ! I booked a few nights at this property and my experience was bad! I realize this hotel has lots of positive reviews but all are fake reviews . Still I do not recommend this property. GM, Kamlesh Mandeliya along with a few managers, sales people have goon like attitudes! This hotel does well due to very little competition in the three star category. Don't believe the hype of it being at this hotel . First meal experience after coming off a train journey was bad. Pathetic dining manager by the name of Dharmesh had a poor attitude and actually had the guts to lie only later after much back and forth confessing to lying. As for the restaurant the food is ok but Staff rude behaviour is not ok Overall Gm is third class GM & his Team alsohe is fillup staff his family members i think so No one can give Job those guys in this hotel whos dont know how to work in hotel that Person Dont know how to work 01 Brajesh Mandeliya02 pawan Mandeliya

'Awesome' is the word to describe my stay. The hotel is at very prime location. I came here by bike so I was very tired. Firstly hotel staff parked my bike and then I went to reception. Reception was very welcoming and polite. They completed the check in in less than a minute. After that I went to room and room was spacious neat and clean. Linen, towels and washroom were super clean too. They provide regular and mineral water both. I tried their food as well. The food rate were not on higher side like other hotel. Food was delicious. Their food is highly recommended. It was just an amazing stay. It's highly recommended for all kind of travellers. Cleanliness, staff behaviour.

they shut down the lift during peak hours ...lift is seriously one of the issue in the hotel ..water leakage from the AC in the room ... service is good , location in the middle of the town...but but parking the 4 wheeler ...is also the issue..

Is it not hotel responsibility to parcel or give our leftover food? We booked this hotel for a function so we told that this much people would come but gathering was less than expected so the food was leftover we asked them to pack and handover the food but they refused and said no this is not done here and if there were more gathering they would have asked for money very bad service. Never book this hotel even staff doesn't have the manners to talk. Regretting my decision to hold our party

Location is near to Gwalior fort . Safe for family . Room was neat and clean . Good atmosphere inside . Check in was fast Safe

This hotel is full of banquet halls but the rooms are pretty small.

We had our function in Nov 2022. Rude and unprofessional staff. They don't care about your function, relatives and all. when you book the hotel they promise so many things but at the day of fucntion nothing will be fulfilled. For us there were no room service atleast for an hour. poor decoration, rude staff behaviour, items are missing the the food menu. when you complaint about any thing they just ask for 10 min and it takes decades for them to resolve the complaint. If you want to ruin your function please book this hotel but if you don't then never never never, I say never book this hotel.
