HOTEL THE GAUR - Hotel in Chandigarh - Chandigarh, India

This hotel has very good ambience. They serve you a very good quantity of food. But only thing I didn't like was the less variety of food in breakfast buffet. Though taste of food was sooooo good.

We had booked a room for family of three. The stay is very nice, comfortable and upto the standards. The staff here is always there to help you out just a call away. We had ordered dinner, the food was delicious and more than enough quantity. Overall the entire stay was very comfortable.

There is a ring ceremony and we have booked hotel for it. But dj guy don't have working internet connection it might due to hotel careless fault about internet that they don't have any backup related to it totally disappointed

It's a nice (restaurant) in Hotel Gaur but food which I ordered was not at all good. Fish Tikka was tasteless and moreover prices are on quite higher side.

"Have guts to speak truth @Amarjeet" I went there to book a hall for my son Bday party and met with their Manager Amarjeet. He gave me estimate and the very next day I called him and told that we have finalised the guest list & want to confirm my booking. He told me to visit them to discuss in detail,since I had office till 7:30 Pm so I asked his availability . He confirmed that he would be available till 9 pm And when I went there this guy Amarjeet behaviour was so shocking He behaved like , He never met me before and we never discussed anything over the call. And said Hall is already booked. I understand being a sales person if you guys got any other client with big strength. You will give it preference but At least have guts to speak truth and admit yes we were in discussions but some other client came and they booked it or you could have informed me over the call because we were already in discussion. So guys be aware , I wish this incident won't happen with anyone. May God bless you all

I was afraid of taste. But I visited the hotel quality and quantity was upto the mark. Service was also good. Dealing of Mr. Sanjeev Thakur is marvelous.

Service is slow and waiter did not clear the queries properly leading to confusion, however they compensated for it, managed well, food was awesome and ambience good.

Attended a party in the basement area. The spacing was good enough for 50-60 people. Great for small birthday parties, anniversary parties, retirement parties, kids parties, etc. Basically, small get together. Snacks were poor in taste. 1. Manchurain - Only outside layering covered with gravy, the insides were tasteless, dry, rough, hard to chew. Seemed unfresh. 2. Paneer Tikka - Again gravy on the outside, chewing the paneer was difficult. It was not fresh. Not even crispy. Basically, hard. 3. Corn Spring Roll - Dry from the inside, green veggie, and corns didn't gave a good taste. 4. Noodles Spring Roll - These were okay. 5. Jaljeera - It didn't feel refreshing. Too sweet. For dinner : 1. Papad : It was nice in taste. 2. Rice - Uncooked, and dry 3. Dal Makhani - It was good. 4. Kadhai Paneer - It was average, lot of masala and added mirch. 5. Salad - It was good, had just cucumber. There is a single washroom for females. It was not much clean. Unorganized. Services were okay. Not really good. The waiters kept standing in groups. Infrastructure of the hotel is really very good. Parking outside the hotel was great. Overall, the hotel is good but the services are not good. Kindly work on the Services & catering part.
