The hotel is very nice. And the location is also very cool. The room is quite nice. The bathroom is also quite nice. But here the light goes out at any time due to which it is very difficult to get hot water in the morning. There is a problem of drinking water in this hotel. Drinking water is not provided from the hotel side.

Stay at Hotel Sun shine was an absolute nightmare. The staff was rude and unhelpful, the rooms were in deplorable condition with a pungent smell of mildew, sagging beds, and broken amenities. The bathroom was a disaster with chipped tiles, filthy grout, and barely functioning plumbing. Despite numerous complaints, the staff showed no interest in addressing the issues, and the on-site dining was abysmal as if I order something they ask to checkout and give quite rude responses. Avoid this dreadful hotel at all costs. Could rate -5 if I could. If you ever visit here and read this review never ever stay here.

Worst hotel you could choose near Dal Lake. Don't go with the photos. Worst rooms and even worse staff. Find a better hotel even if not in front of the lake. If u ask for something to eat or even tea. They ask to check out. Really the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. If you read this. Never go for it.

A good hotel near Dhal Lake with reasonable rates . we have got 3rd floor room which is good . There are no views from the side rooms. but you will get a balcony on the 3rd floor. From there, you will get a good view of Dhal Lake. you can sit in the common area and enjoy the aswome views. without breakfast, we paid 3000/- in July for double occupancy. you will get a Punjabi restaurant dow side the hotel. most of the dishes are available there. it's a very convenient hotel near Dhal Lake, those who are looking for a normal hotel, more than looking on stars.

The hotel was too good and there were many types facility provide officially cab, and very humble and very sincere staff.

I consider myself privileged to be in this hotel for five nights during the month of March, 2023. Located just opposite to the Dal gate no. 6, this hotel is surely one of the best in the business in Srinagar. Their staff members are ever ready to serve you the best, their reception staff members at your service always with a smile. The room, the bed, the washroom, everything, provided for us was worthy to be praised. I remember the night when we were busy leaving our rooms due to earthquake. During this time service of the staff members was just beyond compare. I strongly recommend this hotel, while you are in Srinagar. My special thanks to Mr. Hakim Hamud for his unforgettable assistance in time of need. Take a bow Sir.

A great experience with view of dal lake from hotel rooftop... luxurious foods in dinner decoration is beautiful

Be careful to order anything in the hotel. They charge you 1.5 to 2 times of the menu price. Looks like menu is just to show you can order food nothing else. Room service is ok.
