Hotel Sri Akshardham - Hotel in Nagapattinam - Mayiladuthurai, India

Fantastic hotel / resort for staying in Vaitheeswaran Koil. Stayed in a cottage - 3 bed. The room was spacious and adequate for a family of 4 (2 adults , 2 kids) + help. Rate was just on budget. Food that was served was good and simple. The temple is nearby ~ 5 min walk.

We have been regularly staying in this property since so many years. We came now after 2 years. We see the quality and maintenance has gone down to very bad. Only the restaurant is good. Rooms bedding mattress is torn and dirty. The AC is very old and the filter is very dirty. The toilet mosquito nets are full of dust and musquitos are living in them. The bathroom Bucket and stool are very old and bad. The bathroom floor is having fungi growth. The swimming pool water is not circulated and is green and stagnant. The property is charging big and they can easily maintain and provide hygiene. But they seem to be very careless. Just because there is not much alternative lodge to this property they are completely ignoring even the basic hygiene and cleaning. The room was stuffy. We felt so uncomfortable and had to take some medication to settle the next day. There were bed bugs and mosquitoes as well. I had taken 2 AC rooms. Both were equally bad. Only the moring Tea and coffee was good. The restaurant was better. It's better to stay in another good hotel and may be try the restaurant.

It was really a pleasant stay for our family at Hotel Akshardham. The ambience was super cool surrounded by neat gardens and a small cow farm.They had both cottages and deluxe rooms available. The food was tasty and economical at their own restaurant. Especially the morning coffee completed our trip Definitely a good choice if you want to stay at Vaitheeswaran koil, it's very near to Vaitheeswaran Railway station and the temple.

Great place for food. We were quite late after visiting the temples, but, we were served good food here (while a couple of other places turned us away after 10 p.m.). Great place with ample parking. Will consider booking our accommodation here the next time we visit the temples in this area. Highly recommended.

Stayed one night for temple visit. Courteous staff. Excellent food. Complimentary breakfast is hearty and tasty. Room is basic but large. Take your mosquito bat along. Location is good , near the temple. Hotel area is massive with ample car parking.

Excellent food. Good mgmt. But beware. Campus staffs run for tips towards room when vacating.

Good place and pleasant area for family stay . Those restaurant food are extremely good. Service are soo good which doesn't need patience to wait and eat we get foods properly on time.
