Hotel Shelter - Hotel in Gwalior - Gwalior, India

Positives- Best part of the hotel is location of hotel at heart of the city. Fort, malls and other prime locations are just nearby. Rooms are spacious. Car parking is available. Negatives- Hotel management is very poor and unmaintained. Cleanliness is a big issue. And service of hotel is pathetic. Also receptionist at night is unwelcoming and fights with people hence creating nuisance. 3 stars of hotel is purely on spacious rooms and LOCATION of hotel.

The hotel is located just near the railway station and have an access to the city with good road connectivity and Thanks for Mr. Shubham for Cooperation of good room. and With an open cafe (tosh) and bar at the rooftop you can view rhe whole city and even the Gwalior fort. safe for couples n I enjoy it..

We booked this hotel for an engagement ceremony and the management made sure that we regret our decision from the very beginning of the event. Poor quality service, they won't even do the bare minimum of refilling the plates, spoons etc. And it is too much to expect them serving the starters and snacks that they themselves agreed for, rude staff, manager doesn't know the word professionalism, once you notice that management is completely ignorant of the situation and you try to bring that to their attention, instead of helping out the situation, manager would love to spend time arguing and talking nonsense including "let's watch cctv and decide how's it going". That was pretty obvious within a few hours that they don't care about their guests but they really don't care about their reputation as well and we realised later that they got none. When our event went through the disaster they created, I got to know from many others that the Sheltor management has been doing the same in the past. We could have done a better research while looking for a hotel to host our event, I am writing this review hoping nobody else has to go through the same on their important day. Only good thing about the hotel is it's location, but that won't matter when the basics turn into a disaster.

Worst experience with hotel stay. Not recommend to stay here at any cost. Smelly and uncleaned rooms and corridor. WiFi and TV was not working. They won't display the food menu and rate card prior. Water bottle of worth Rs. 40 they have charged Rs. 71 saying these are the hotel rates. Highly regret opting this hotel for my gwalior stay.

The hotel is located at a nice spot. Staff is very friendly. Amenities could have been better. But in the overall experience, these small problems cab be neglected. 5 stars and looking forward to next visit!

Super late restaurant. Food is nice but if you have more than enough time then you can go there.

Our experience was not good...were given a room with dirty linen, no hot water...worst service...think twice before you book...

Nice place to chill.. .. we enjoyed it. room service was a little slow . .. overall a nice stay
