Hotel Sarah (Calangute, GOA) - Hotel in Calangute - North Goa, India

My friends and I recently embarked on a budget-friendly trip and decided to stay at a 1-star hotel. While we expected basic amenities and modest accommodations, we were truly disappointed by the overall experience. Firstly, upon entering the room, an unpleasant odor greeted us, leaving a lasting impression that was hard to shake off. The room itself was cramped, barely providing enough space for our luggage, let alone for moving around comfortably. The furnishings were worn out, giving off a tired and neglected vibe. The beds were another issue altogether. They were uncomfortable, with thin mattresses that offered little support. It felt as though we were sleeping on springs, and every movement sent a ripple of discomfort throughout our bodies. Needless to say, a good night's sleep was out of the question. The bathroom was the epitome of disappointment. It was cramped and poorly maintained, with cracked tiles and grime in the corners. The shower barely produced a trickle of water, making it nearly impossible to properly rinse off after a long day of exploring. The lack of hot water was yet another unwelcome surprise. To make matters worse, the noise levels in the hotel were unbearable. Thin walls allowed every sound to penetrate our room, be it conversations in neighboring rooms or the constant hum of the hallway. It was impossible to find any peace or quiet, making our stay even more frustrating. On the rare occasions when we interacted with the staff, their lack of professionalism and indifference were clear. Requests for assistance or information were met with disinterested shrugs and vague replies, leaving us feeling ignored and unimportant as guests. The hotel's location, while advertised as convenient, turned out to be far from desirable. It was situated in a noisy and unsafe neighborhood, making us feel uneasy whenever we ventured out at night. We would have appreciated more accurate information regarding the area to manage our expectations accordingly. In summary, our stay at this 1-star hotel was an incredibly disappointing experience. The lack of cleanliness, uncomfortable beds, inadequate facilities, and unprofessional staff made it difficult to enjoy our trip. We would strongly advise against staying at this hotel unless absolutely necessary, as there are certainly better options available at a similar price

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sarah's. Rooms are neat and clean with all amenities like AC, balcony, Wifi, Fridge, Tv, hot water, power back up etc., Hotel owner Ali has made all arrangements for me and my husband. Very helpful. Thank you.

Sarah Guest House is a good property and very good and spacious rooms for guests; just 5 min. from calangute beach and on very main market of calangute bagha road; near to parking, bus stand etc., all restaurants nearby. Staff is very good and helpful, property is also neat and clean; and owners /hosts are also very good. i would suggest you to book this guest house when you are in Goa. It will be value for money.

t's Guest House Like own home. Guest House owner Mr. Ali is So Friendly and he is a helpful careful person. Hotel manager Mr. Hamza also a good person. I have best experience with this guest House and Mr. Ali. He arranged taxi for pick up and drop to airport for me and arrange bike, taxi and holiday packages for goa in good and valuable price. Rooms are good and clean. Guest House have nearly Calangute beach, bagha beach and many other places.

Nice restaurants for veg lovers. They have plenty of options including Punjabi, South Indian etc. We ordered the Mix Veg and Butter roti and we are highly satisfied with the taste and the quantity. Staff and cleanliness also up to the mark. Recommended for Pure Veg people

Not friendly for tourist. Very rude and idiotic behaviour of manager. Staff also said that they are also helpless from this hotel services. They just trying to make fool you. No tv connection and wifi is like a 2g mobile net speed. Then they also charges of complimentary water bottle without any information. All guys be aware don't choose it.

Great place, Great customer service, The hotel and tour packages were amazing had so much fun. I would really like to recommend Sarah's Hotel and I would like to bring my friends and family to this place.
