Hotel Sahibs LightHouse - Hotel in Agra, Basai - Agra, India

We recently stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Unfortunately the smart card doors are always failed to work. Every time have to go down to reactivate and wait for couple of hours :-( One night the power is went off and there comes the problem, night it was No Power at 12.30 night. I have to call them to fix it. The rooms are old and tiny bathroom. Don't go with the picture shown in the site. Staff was excellent, I appreciate only on this.

I stayed in this hotel and my experience was not good... staff were good and polite but the things to be maintained and improve there. Faced alot of problems like 1: No telephone wad available i my room .. A person has to go out from room for any communication . 2: No towel , toothbrush , washroom doormate or face wash is available... 3:housekeeping was not satisfied. Note:- Things to be organized and maintenance should be done before a guest check in.

Everything was the best - 1) we stayed for 5 days and staff was helpful and professional with us . 2) food was yummy and very economical 3) Location was also 1 km from the Taj Mahal (hence making it close to tourist locations ) 4) rooms were clean and hygienic as well, there was alll the toiletries in the hotel and everything was free 5) pool area was very big and the water. In swimming pool was clean Hence highly recommended hotel and would suggest all western and European tourist to do come at the hotel

I visited there last month and my experience at the hotel was decent and good. There were 20 of us and was the most memorable travel of ours ,we were in Agra for almost 8 days because of our shooting championship and the hotel was very close to all the destinations and perfectly located. AC was just perfectly working and room size was very decent and big ,would highly recommend this hotel. Staff Mr Krishan kantt was very interactive and helped me to his best in arranging all the travel and everything. We also arranged a pool party at the hotels rooftop pool which was very big and food was very tasty ,there also was a family room just next to the pool which was also very good with TV and everything. Would visit this hotel anytime and everytime I visit Agra .

Cut a long story short. Avoid this hotel. * cockroaches * mosquitos * threatening staff * nothing like the photos * no hot water, no Wi-Fi, no towels, no customer service. * no buffet breakfast Who on earth is rating this place anything higher than 1 star!? You're making life very difficult for honest visitors who just want a clean place to stay. I have evidence of all of this. Feel free to contact me and I will happily share it with you.

No doubt, the room was clean and cosy. Staff was kind. The flush in the loo was running all time. No hot water. The breakfast was cold, and not fresh. Cutlery was dirty. There was a spider in the drinking water. T.V did not work even once. There were tea bags in the room, but no creamer. Landlines were designed to not work. Pool had the strict rules (swimsuits only) 2 hrs. during the day 2 hrs. in the evening. In their restaurant, you can only eat nonveg meals during the day and not at night. Had to wait for 50 minutes for a blanket. Ashok, the person at the reception, had the most unreliable insights. I trusted him for his advice and suggestions, ended up wasting time and money and was embarrassed infront of my family and the Uber driver. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Also after so much they still asked me to visit them again. Never will I ever recommend anyone to visit Sahib's Lighthouse-Agra. Unpleasant stay.

My experience at this hotel was amazing . Everything was just perfect and tremendous. Food was very very delicious and swimming pool was very big In size ,went with family and enjoyed my stay there

At first sight, everything about the hotel looked oke, personal seemed oke, check in went fast and payed cash for the room at the desk although before we had the chance to see the room. Unfortunately after seeing the room and hearing that the swimming pool was only open between 5 and 7 pm, we came to the conclusion that the hotel in its whole was not up to our expectations based upon the pictures on the website. AC was noisy, room smelled weird so we decided to leave the hotel after 10 minutes. When explaining this to the front desk they were not responsive at all or showed any empathy and said point blank that they did not want to give our money back. We ended up spending one hour on the phone speaking to the owner/manager while the staff were laughing at us and clearly thought this situation was funny. Eventually they gave our money back but it was THE most inhospitable experience ever. In short: just do not go here, there are better places to go to in Agra worth your money. They do not know anything about the hotel business, it is only about the money and getting good reviews to fool other future customers. Do not give these immature amateurs this satisfaction!
