Hotel Raj Mandir - Hotel in Haridwar - Haridwar, India

Friends, do not go to this hotel. I booked 2 rooms and both were smeely. 1. Smeely rooms. 2. Phone was not working. 3. Smeelly towels. 4. No water bottle. 5. No shower gel. 6. No AC remote. 7. Service extremely poor. 8. Smeely toilet and seat was broken. 9.They do not even clean the room, even after requested multiple times. 10.They gave my baggage to other customer, I had to run to railway station to get my baggage back. And most important, behaviour at reception staff is very bad, they talk rudely. Manager Sunil was very bad while talking, guys I paid higer rates to this hotel but not fruitfull. You can get better hotel near hr ki paudi in less rates and better rooms which is open from both sides.

The hotel location is bad since Dehradun train line is just in front of the hotel resulting in continuous train whistle and sound. The geyser doesn't work at all and reception doesn't listen to your requests. The lobby lights are always kept off to save electricity and if you turn them on, when nothing is visible or can't even unlock the door, the hotel management turns them off. The AC is turned off from the reception and you always have to call the reception to turn on. I would not recommend this hotel.

Disgusting hotel. Can't give 0 bcause that's what they deserve. We book 2 rooms for 2 days. But experience was horrible. Never seen such foolish management in my life. 1: AC not working in one room. Complaint it but no budy bother to check throughout the stay. 2: No hot water. They lie on your face giving different excuse. Even owner. 3: TV not working. 4: Broken WC 5. Water coming into room from seeling. 6: Not even water bottle available. We need to buy from outside. 7: Elevator not working most of time. If somebody is lucky enough to read this review, please don't go ..it's wastage of money and you will find many good hotels with less prise

Rooms are good in size but not clear. I found empty Beer Bottles in front of room as i checked in and beer bottle caps into room. TV - Only free channels are working, No single paid. AC - Max time those guys switch off as you left room. You are paying money for AC but you can't run AC for full time to cold your room. You need to request to start AC from counter control Service - Only single guys serve complete hotel for all work. Location - As it is near to Mansa Mata temple, you always cross the rush. No way to go there with your own car. Staff - At the time of check in, very polite, but when you do checkout few late, switch off AC, light And start demanding more money - very rude (specially manager), ready to fight and not ready to of any type help . Food - they have restaurant but no staff is there. If you assume that you will get food in hotel, no chance. No towel and other required in bathrooms, Dirty Bed Sheet and blankets Overall conclusion is - very bad experience according to cost.

GUYS! I WILL PREFER NOT TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL ... I HAVE STAYED IN HARIDWAR MANY TIMES BUT THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. THE HOTEL WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. ROOM- No cleanliness, Electric kettle was not there . No balcony or window for cross ventilation and no space for drying clothes .Carpet was literally a rag.Dirty pillows , bedsheets and blankets were not changed . Only 1 or 2 channels were working in TV. Smelly Almirah. BATHROOM- Very dirty and smelly . No required necessities in bathroom . LOCALITY- Streets were really a garbage dump. You can't use your cars .You had to use rickshaws for going here and there .There was no car parking. You had to pass through the rush for at least 2 km. * HOTEL MANAGER WAS REALLY RUDE AND CRUEL.THEY SWITCHED OFF AC AND FANS THE MOMENT WE STEPPED OUT OF THE HOTEL. BOTH ,HOTEL MANGER AND HOTEL WERE PATHETIC . THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY BAD . I would have given 0 rating but there was no option .

Pathetic hotel, worst experience in my entire life. Already room prices are high for no reason when you enter they don't even have the decency to offer refreshment (water atleast) kept us waiting for 2 hours irrespective of check-in time. The staff is very rude and illmannered. They demand unnecessary extra money on reception desk. And don't really care about the customers. The rooms are not as per pictures. it's a TRAP, DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

We booked here in 2022, and wanted to book this year as well. They took advance then cancel it coz they want to sell us 1 more room which is not needed. Greedy people No parking They lie about sending staff to carry luggage.

We stayed for 1 night with family. (large room with 2 double beds) Pros: 1. Adjacent to Mansa Devi Ticket counter 2. Helpful staff 3. comfortable and clean beds 4. Newly constructed Cons: 1. No Parking available (but this is common with all the hotels in the old city) thanks!
