As a food explorer I can safely say that "This place has got the best Bengali foods in the valley." Mind you that is not an exaggeration. When food capitalism had hit Silchar, like any other food enthusiast I too started to get attracted and inclined towards big time food labels like KFC, Domino's, pizza Hut and others. But out of accident I discovered this place for myself and it was a pleasent food surprise indeed. It made me fall in love with the veggies that I usually don't prefer and ofcourse it rekindled my love for 'Mach Bhat'. It not only gave me delicious taste and good experience but also gave me good memories that i am sharing with my friends and you readers. So any folks who is reading this, what are waiting for?? If you have no reason to come.....Just make one.
Very simple hotel with a good ambience. You will get a good quality fresh bengali food at a reasonable price. During lunchtime place became crowded. Mutton Curry and Vapa Ilisha is their USP, also they have a good menu.
would recommend this restaurant to people who are on a looking for good bengali food. However, be prepared for a very busy and hot place, and food was quite spicy

The ambiance and theme of this cozy restaurant is very impressive! Taste and serving style is just amazing. Almost all the dishes especially the mom platter with wide variety of delicious momos and chicken lollipop (gravy) taste out of the world.
