Hotel Port Meridien - Hotel in Port Blair - South Andamans, India

It is a very very good hotel to stay.. Situated about 3-4 km from the airport. Location is very good. It is the center of the city. Rooms - Rooms are very nice, clean and spacious. Every room is equipped with AC. Service - After you check in the staff will take your luggage to your room. Staff is very helpful and nice. They guide you about how you should plan your journey in the island. Complimentary breakfast is also very good. The service is quick and the food is tasty.! Overall it's a very nice place to stay.! I would recommend this to all who are coming to port Blair and looking for a hotel to stay.!

I booked this hotel considering the Stay with Meals but all our family members got dissatisfied with room size and specially food quality. I think this hotel is used by booking agents for tour package including meals. So that agents can make big profit through this hotel(meals). We took its meals for two days but did not like to take further so we stopped taking meals for rest of the stay. Morning tea were smelly, I complained about tea smell then they changed it but again there was bad smell so I preferred not to take tea and meal anymore. Breakfast had aloo chana, aloo matar, aloo chhole but with bad taste. Room-- Room size were very less as compared to cost. No wardrobe, no intercom, no table only one chair. Room had only space to put a chair in it. Otherwise there was no space in room to even walk. We had to keep our luggage on floor. Everytime we had to go to reception to ask for anything. We stayed one night at Havelock resort which gave us very delicious dinner and we were delighted to taste a good dinner and with spacious room size. I don't recommend this hotel for family and couple.

The hotel is quite acceptable for the price. Staff is friendly and location is convenient, only a few kms to both ferry and airport. The room was spacious with a string fan. Bed was worn but ok, sheets were clean and I was provided with a towel and soap. The bathroom has seen better days, but it was also clean. All in all fine for an overnight stay to/from the other islands.

Indeed a good place to stay at an affordable price. Pro's 1. Best part is it's location. it is in the middle of the town. Jetty , airport, market, cellular jail etc. everyplace is nearby. 2. The staffs are very helpful. Whatever you ask them, they'l run to get it for you. 3. The hotel has wifi. Although only at reception and 1st floor lobby. 4. The hotel has a restaurant with good food. 5. Booked ac room it via goibibo at a very cheap price. Con's 1. Wifi network doesn't come in the rooms.

Hotel offers u the nice room at very decent bugdet. Rooms are clean staff is helpful. Located at Dilanipur road which is approx 2.5kms from Airport n location is such u wont have conveyance issues though we didnt found nice restaurant nearby.

it was a pleasant stay at the hotel. good budget hotel. breakfast served was Hygenic also services were swift and staff was really cooperative but dont use the water they provide you, instead buy mineral water everytime as i found some yellowish color in the bottom of the bottle overall a good decent stay i would say

Fan is working only full speed. Regulator is not working. Gyser is not working. AC line is found out of order. TV is not working. Always there is smell of fish dishes inside the hotel complex. So, the hotel is not suitable for vegetarian. No sufficient electric port exists for multiple mobile and electronics items charging. Cleanliness is excellent. Staff is very cooperative.

Very good ac rooms with good cooling and also free breakfast as promised. Finally i get some veg food which was delicious. and pick up is not provided as promised but the manager pays to taxi from his pocket. So i recommend everyone this hotel
