Place is set in Barog hill, it has decent size ground, hall and other sitting area, Parking is well managed during functions, service during a Reception party was very good as there was sufficient staff.
Although located in the city but once you ascend to the hotel you find plenty of parking space. Rooms are old and below average. But excellent location for Marriage and Event Venues. Food is superb and staff is very co-operative. Beautiful view of hills and surprisingly large open space for outdoor events.
Location is good, property is also one of the best in Solan. Service is also good. Parking facility is enough for small gathering.
On 30 December we booked one room at Hotel Pine Grove, Solan for that we paid Rs 3193 in advance for 30 Dec to 31 Dec. On 30 th December before leaving towards this hotel which was at almost 6-hour distance from my home, we confirmed from them about late night check in. But when I reached at hotel with my wife at around 12.30 am, no one was there at reception. It was locked from inside. We called owner and at reception no one replied to our calls. It was midnight and I was alone with my wife in cold night. From 2 am to 5 am we searched on all nearby places we didn't get any room. Because of this we spent 4000 more and for almost full night we patrolled in search of room. Later on, owner/manager of this property harassed us further by saying we never came to their hotel. So, with full sincerity and responsibility I am sharing this review so that they won't do this again with any other family.
An amazing budget hotel situated in Barog. The view is amazing. Perfect view - Do switch off the light in your room to see the view of the valley at night. Damn mesmerizing. Price - Rs1600 per room. Do check my youtube channel if you want to see the video.
A good resort. Suitable for functions
Hotel is really at a very good location wide area for walks and ampel open space for spending time with family & frinds . View from the Room balcony is good however not all rooms are valley facing. Rooms are quiet big as well however no addons are placed for warm Water, tea coffee & its strictly a very basic setup which is the only factor which needs improvement. Food quality is also nice.
My friends stayed here for a wedding! They had a terrible experience. The luggage was moved from the room without intimating the guests, which had personal and expensive belongings! That too couple of hours before the checkout time. This kind of hospitality is not expected from the hotel. I will not recommend this place to anyone!
Nice and cozy studio apartments. Great restaurant with awesome food. Has mini theatre with recliner seats and spa and massage therapy too. The massage therapist Mr. Shekhar Sharma did a great job.
