I recently had lunch at the Old and Famous Andhra Style Restaurant in Majestic, Bengaluru, and I must say, the taste of the Andhra meals was just as amazing as it was 20 years ago. They've managed to maintain the same high standard and quality. However, I did notice a heavy rush during lunch hours, which is a testament to its popularity. The restaurant's ambiance is classic, but it's worth mentioning that it has an old feel to it. One point of improvement would be the cleanliness of the waiters. While they were attentive, some showed impatience when it came to tips. Overall, the food made it a nostalgic and delightful experience, but a little more focus on service would elevate the dining experience.
A legend hotel with the name and fame which doesn't disappoint people. The hotel is crowded like crazy all the time as they have huge space and lot of tables one will be able to fit into some random place along with unknown person right in front or beside. The service is too fast as they know how to manage the crowd. Don't worry about ambience. Price is bit high compared to other places for same menu. Neatly maintained hygiene. Chicken biryani and drumsticks are must try. Kabab was too heavy with the outer layer with masala. Mutton fry was good with the taste but the pieces were small.
Best place in Bangalore to have mutton pulav , chilli chicken and mutton fry and also their Andhra style meals.
We were greeted by a board announcing "biriyani over", when we walked in for a late dinner. But we were not disappointed. It was suggested that we can have vegetarian meals with chicken 65 and chicken kabab. Food arrived fast and was served on banana leaf. Rice was drizzled generously with ghee and tasted yummy with the paruppu podi. The usual side dishes were also tasty. Chicken 65 had 3 medium size pieces, unlike the smaller pieces normally served. Both the chicken dishes we tried were good, pieces were tender. Will be visiting to try the popular biriyani. A visit to this restaurant is highly recommended.
Must try mutton biryani and chicken chips. Cost is too high. Taste good. When we go Sunday's means we wait for atleast 1 hour for the seats.
Super place for non vegetarian food, you want try package Bengaluru non veg food than this your place, any given day I can have food here with closed eyes
I know this hotel from 25 years, it's not same.. changed in bad way. Last experience is way worst. Service is way worst. Check the bills before you pay, they just included water bottle charges though I didn't order it.he tries to hide the bill by just saying order amount. Not the the hotel i visited as a kid(I would have rated 5 stars that time). Decided previous visit will be my last visit.
Tried their mutton biriyani, Chicken Kebab, Gongura Chicken. I must say it was the best mutton biriyani I've ever tried in Bangalore. The biriyani is too good and the mutton pieces were well cooked & tender. The best combination is with chicken kebab as it was also very good. Tried their Gongura chicken & it's a semi gravy dish and the gravy tasted good. The only downside would be the crowd, so plan your visit accordingly.

Authentic South Indian food served on banana leaf Keema biryani with raita was so delicious! I come here whenever I have friends visiting Bangalore. Dosa is only served in dinner which is also very tasty!
Finally found a restaurant that has Meghana level biryani. But the place is small and was over crowded for lunch on a weekday. It was the Manyata office crowd, so I guess there will be less crowds on weekends. But they were very nice and quickly foun
