Meridian is a neat hotel. Food was very very nice and they served it hot and within the committed time. Hospitality was extremely good. People are so polite and always greet us with a smile. We faced little problem in the morning regarding hot water. We waited for long and the water was only Luke warm, which is not enough for the low temperatures there. But otherwise I was very satisfied with the food, service and rooms.
One of the best hotels in the outskirts of Srinagar. Situated beside the Lidder River. The property is very well maintained and decorated with several blooming plants. Their rooms are spacious and clean. Washrooms are quite big and immaculate. Hot water available. The staff is very helpful and homely. Complementary breakfast and dinner available. Wifi also available.
This was a disappointment. The hotel looks run down and needs renovations badly. Especially the toilets, they are nightmares. The staff here is courteous and helpful. Still I would suggest to give this hotel a miss. Better alternatives are available close by.
Beware of looting by staff. Forcefully claims tips. House keeping, restaurant, security everyone will ask for money. Bed bugs. I got tick Bourne fever. Unsafe place. I felt a very unpleasant vibe while staying. Don't stay at this property. There dozens nearby which better and cheaper.
Would have preferred this place to be more accessible to amenities / view. Regardless, this place is very hospitable. They even served us food in our rooms when we felt it too cold to venture out.
The property and staff is more than fantastic, beautiful and cozy rooms, such a humble and caring staff. They go extra mile to ensure their guest are happy and satisfied. they happily accept all the guest request with a smile.
