Hotel Marine View - Hotel in Port Blair - South Andamans, India

Name- deceptive. no marine view. location- it's in the dockyard. auto/bus stand is very nearby. market/cellular jail is not in walking distance for an average person. hotel- no lift. but they will make you believe that there is one which isn't fctioning at present. They have WiFi but no internet connection. At least we didn't get during our stay. And this is not the condition in whole of portblair. we had stayed in another hotel, internet was pretty good. rooms- okay type. lots of glasses to make it big or for beautification. 3 bed rooms available. bathroom- water logging issues in basin and in the commod. hot water available all the time. food is pretty good in their own restraunt. price is little high though but restraunt boys are very cordial and friendly. We took a car for baratang trip from them, service was good. At 5000 per day for 2 rooms without complimentary breakfast, not recommended.

I was there for 3 Nights 4 Days. Here are +ve and -ve points - Positives: - 1. Good Location 2. Complementary Buffet Breakfast just awesome 3. 24-Hrs Power Backup. So no problem in power cut situation. 4. Roof service and Room cleaning facility 5. Toiletries provided Negatives: - 1. Rooms are at 1st floor and 2nd floor. But LIFT in 'Out of order' condition. 2. Wi-Fi not works as per them, 'server issue', 'power cut' etc. etc reasons for WiFi issue I recommend this hotel for stay.

Good hotel, overall cleanness is fine, but sometimes there is a problem with AC, but that is also negligible. Most importantly the staffs and specially the chef are so humbly and helpful. They arrange buffet breakfast, dinner and also A-La-Carte menu option in their restaurant.

We just returned back from this hotel. You will not get your rooms ready even if you arrive late, however they will behave like animals while at the time of checkout at early morning 8 and will tell you that other guests are waiting. So kindly talk to them in advance to ensure instant check in. We had to wait for half an hour in the front desk as the room was getting ready even if we arrived late. Another thing Room Number 201 AC makes huge sounds during the night time and we could not sleep well. One positive point is that the old manager will help you and guide you will all his knowledge. Rooms are decorative and beautiful. Location is nice, little away from Market. We visited on 13th November 2017.

it's a nice hotel in low budget and located at perfect location near by jetty and walking distance to Aberdeen Bazar. Room is neat and clean.Food is a bit expensive. but its ok .Hotel owner is very friendly and cooperative. WiFi and tv available. overall it's a great hotel in low budget.

Like most of budget hotels in Port Blair.. this hotel rooms are below average compared to any other place is India i have stayed ( like Goa , Delhi , Mumbai and almost every city in india) the room I stayed was 202 and is spacious .. but AC and TV remote was not working , toilet was extremely dirty. Power failure is a major problem in port Blair and this hotel has no backup ..so we had to nearly stay 1 hour in dark and then use candles ..and it was extremely hot and humid . The staff is really helpful and the breakfast is best .. I recommend this hotel only for the staff and breakfast .. rooms and toilet are below average Pramod

Very very budget hotel nearby market. Rooms are decent after its renovation but if u are looking for top facilities here then don't expect much since it's for budget travellers who just want a room to sleep that's it. Rooms are okay has a restuarant too which is small. Food is normal and decent. You get room for 2k during season time.

Rooms are just same as the pictures posted in the internet. There is no mobile network in most of the rooms. If you are expecting WiFi, do not go there. Our check in was delayed by an hour and more. There is a restaurant below which provides decent food at comparatively reasonable prices. it is situated near the dock yard and is around 20 minutes from the airport.
