HOTEL MAPLE IVY - Hotel in Alibag - Raigad, India

I had booked 2 rooms from a travel portal for the month of November. The booking was done in August with zero cancellation fee (till 72 hours before the check-in) and with the option to pay at property. I received a call from the property 2 months later, to inform me that rooms are unavailable during those days. This happened due to glitch from their end. Then they asked me to cancel my booking from the travel portal as well as it showed that there was a booking under my name. They could not give a valid reason for me to cancel my booking from the portal as well. They ended up calling me multiple times just so that I cancel my booking. The pictures of the property looked beautiful and we planned to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary. I would think twice about booking here next time.

We chose this place after going through the past reviews. It helped us a lot. The hotel is in a good location. We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff was very polite, helpful and professional. The breakfast buffet had varieties. And the food of the Hotel was amazing. The swimming pool facility made our stay more awesome. Overall a nice a place to stay in Alibaug.

Very nice quaint hotel in ALIBAUG in a soft lane on main alibaug road . good decent rooms n toilets,well done up lobby, good restaurant. enjoyed the breakfast spread with live counter for eggs n dosas. Tariff is also reasonable and we got a good walk in discount as it was a weekday..staff was all pleasant and smiling..also decent size indoor pool ,the water was very clean and well maintained pool.. overall a nice experience..value for money..

Amazing room and facilities...food service and taste was good ... Only thing I was a bit unhappy about was that there was a urine smell in the bathroom as soon as I checked in... I switched on the exhaust and the smell reduced a bit but it was still there throughout my stay and I am not sure where it was coming from... Location wise it is in a convenient place but not great views

Room was good, room services were OK. Front desk seemed to be helpful. Good things is the hotel was close to the main road. The morning breakfast was up to the mark.

Yes it did meet expectations. Best part is staff is very courteous and soft spoken and always ready to help from front desk to dining services.This made the stay more pleasant. The place is very neat and clean with good rooms and very nice breakfast buffet which is equivalent to 5 star hotel. In all very good place to stay for leisure trip and for short break.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Maple for a weekend getaway, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel's location is one of its major advantages, being conveniently situated around 2.5 km away from both Alibaugh Beach and Varsoli Beach. This made it a great choice for us as we planned to visit both beaches during our stay. Upon entering our room, we were pleased to find it clean and spacious. The only downside was the positioning of the AC unit, which was located above the bathroom door. As a result, only a portion of the room received adequate cooling, while the rest remained a bit warmer. However, apart from this minor inconvenience, the rooms were quite comfortable. One notable feature was the presence of a mini fridge in each room, which was a definite plus. The hotel also offered additional amenities, including an indoor pool called "the Bluestreak" and a large hot-tub/jacuzzi. While the pool could have been cleaner, it was still decent and provided an enjoyable experience. It was evident that efforts were made to maintain a satisfactory level of cleanliness. When it came to dining, we visited "The Saffron Hotel," the restaurant located on the ground floor in front of the reception area. The food quality at this restaurant was really impressive, with delicious options on the menu. However, the service fell a bit short of our expectations. We found ourselves repeatedly asking for glasses, water, spoons, and forks, as the staff seemed preoccupied attending to a large group of about 15 people. It was clear that the service could use some improvement and better attention to all guests. In conclusion, Hotel Maple provides a decent three-star accommodation option for those seeking a weekend getaway from the hustle-bustle of the city. While the location might be a bit far for some, the hotel offers the convenience of renting bikes or cars from the reception, allowing guests to explore the area easily. I would advise future guests to carefully inspect the condition of the rented vehicles before making any payment. During our stay, we were promised brand new vehicles at a premium price but received bikes in poor condition upon delivery, which was disappointing considering we had paid in advance. Despite a few shortcomings, I would recommend Hotel Maple for its favorable location, clean and spacious rooms, and the pleasant dining experience at "The Saffron Hotel." With some improvements in service and better attention to detail, it has the potential to become an even more enjoyable place to stay.
