SKIP STAYING HERE! Impolite Staff, below average rooms and has tiny spaces. Not recommended if you are looking to stay even on a budget. Plenty of better places available!
I visited Pondicherry on a long weekend without pre-booking somehow, so had to resort to taking an offline hotel. I paid for 2 nights and after spending one night at the hotel I had to travel back to Delhi due to some medical emergency at my home. I requested the manager over there several times to deduct some charges and refund the rest of the amount, but even after multiple requests he was not considerate enough to pay heed to my requests. In fact, he was really rude. Because of the emergency, i literally ran from there and on my way back I remembered that i forgot my Nike shoes over there, so I called the manager. He was being too nice and promised me that he will courier them to Bangalore the very next day. I even offered to pay him extra. He kept promising me the next day as well and after few days he blocked my number. If you have other options, I would highly recommend not going for the hotel. Not that the rooms were nice anyway.
Very bad room. Cockroaches in room and room smells very bad. Not clean bedsheets. Outside sound can be heard in the room. Won't even stay for free.
Worst cheated totally fraud... please don't book here, If you have other options, I would highly recommend not going for the hotel.

After online booking they demand advance payment though they stat no "prepayment required " While booking and confirm only on receipt of advance payment. For early check in they charge Rs100/per hour, no restaurant/very small room and tiny bath room not worth for the amount we paid. Very poor service.
The room was good for the price, ac was good, bed was clean the only problem I felt was the bathroom is small. Rest are good.

We had a great stay at Bay Stays! The room was clean, had a cute design, and was affordable with a fantastic location. Our host, Vignesh was very helpful. However, I do have a concern about the towels we used as they left a white cast on our clothes.
