Hotel Jaswant Bhawan - Hotel in Bikaner - Bikaner, India

We made a last minute booking in this hotel and the owner was very kind to accomodate us and host us kindly. The staff is very kind and helpful with everything that you need. Their restaurant (Gulab Bagh) serves delicious food with a very good quality and quantity. The breakfast has a wide variety to choose from. The hotel itself is located very close to the train station. The interiors of the hotel and a layout are maintained in an antique palace style, which made our stay a very unique experience. The room was spacious and had all the necessities, the bathroom was quite big and there is a geyser for hot water supply. They have some of the cleanest bedsheets and linens we have seen so far in India. We stayed in the room no:8 which is located on the roof top and we could sit in the evening on the benches outside the room.

This was such a homely heritage hotel, run by the kindest family! We were made to feel like we were family, they also have the cutest pug dogs. The room was spacious and very clean, bathroom was spotless and the shower is huge. Loved our stay here, only wish it had been longer! Thank you

One of the best places for a comfortable stay in Bikaner. On our trip to Jaisalmer, me and my husband decided to stay over in Bikaner. This cozy place to our surprise treated us so well that on our way back to Delhi ,we choose to stay at Hotel Jaswant Bhawan again without a second thought!! The food, the ambience, the hospitality is unmatchable. It is Pocket friendly as well! I would highly recommend this place to all.

Hotel Jaswant Bhawan in Bikaner, Placed next to railway station is run by family which houses about 17 odd rooms, of which 4 seems to be in old structure and rest are in adjusant extention. We stayed in room no 2 , which seems very small under renovation as two of bed side hangings were not installed wires were hanging instade. TV channels not working upon complaint with front desk the answer was given that the service is disrupted from cable guy.( Front desk lad did not even sent anyone to check as if it's ok the guest does not get what is on offer ) AC connection was off when enquired he said Thandi hai ? Why one need when it's so cold outside. He totally was ammused when I said I can keep the temperature at 25 celcius which is better than out side 14 to 16 degrees. ( Then he started the supply). Bathroom is big has glass partition & a cupboard & wash basin. What's our take, Room Neatly maintained but request to avoid 1 to 4 room nos as the courtyard which it overlooks is not as neat as the other courtyard in extended area. ( by pictures you will notice ). In Room Facilities: Coffee /Tea Maker, Bathroom: They Provide Hand Towel & Bath Towels, with 1 Sope Service : No room service , expect for Tea / Coffee Wifi : worst Concern by management: Very Poor & least concerned. Parking on site : can park about 6 to 7 cars and few two wheelers. Cleanliness: Reasonably Good Will I recommend: Ofcourse Noooooooot. And if someone wants to book avoid the old courtyard side.( It's my personal opinion). check with Similarly priced hotels in Bikaner. Hope management pay heed to improving on service & work towards guests comfort. All the best Preetam.

La chambre est bien, grande et propre avec une belle salle de bain (chambre deluxe). Proche de la gare de train de Bikaner. Le restaurant de l'hotel est bon par contre le personnel n'est absolument pas aimable. Accueil impersonnelle par rapport a ce que l'on a pu connaitre en Inde. Le gerant affiche un sourire force, si vous avez besoin de rien c'est votre homme. Nous sommes restes 6 jours, nous n'avons pas eu une seule bouteille d'eau (pourtant specifie sur le descriptif de la chambre). La chambre n'a pas ete faite une seule fois, pas de savon ni papier toilette. Le prix de l'excursion en chameau ete presque 2 fois plus chere que le prix payer reellement. Le WiFi est inexistant. Attention CB international pas accepte, on nous avait pourtant dit le contraire. Il a fallu courrir a 8h du soir vers le premier ATM en fonction moyennant 7EUR de frais de retrait. Merci pour votre professionnalisme. Et meme pas un mot pour s'excuser. Je pense que l'on peut trouver un meilleur hotel dans Bikaner et surtout avec un accueil plus chaleureux. Desole pour cette critique mais vous etes ce qu'on a vu de pire depuis 2 mois en Inde. Vous ne faites pas honneur a votre ville et au gens qu'on n'y a rencontre. Votre personnel est malheureusement a votre image. The room is good, large and clean with a nice bathroom (deluxe room). Close to Bikaner train station. The restaurant of the hotel is good, but the staff is absolutely not friendly. Impersonal welcome compared to what we experienced in India. The manager shows a forced smile, if you need anything he's your man. We stayed 6 days, we did not have a single bottle of water (yet specified on the description of the room). The room was not made once, no soap or toilet paper. The price of the camel excursion was almost twice as much as the actual price to pay. WiFi is non-existent. Attention international CB not accepted, we were however told the opposite. We had to run at 8 o'clock in the evening to the first ATM in operation for a EUR7 withdrawal fee. Thank you for your professionalism. And not even a word of apology. I think you can find a better hotel in Bikaner and especially with a warmer welcome. Sorry for this review but you are the worst we have seen in 2 months in India. You do not honor your city and the wonderful people we met there. Your staff is unfortunately in your image.

Nous avons passe un tres bon sejour dans cet hotel. Le personnel etait accueillant et la pour nous aider notamment lors de la prise de tickets de bus. Tres bon rapport qualite prix nous recommandons

Very well-maintained hotel, with amazing and homely food and staff. Good location as it is walking distance from railway station. Highly recommend for an enjoyable stay in Bikaner.
