Hotel Jal Mahal - Hotel in Dimapur - Dimapur, India

If the owner is seeing this, The naga lady who sits at the counter should be fired, worst experience ever, doesn't know how to talk with customers, full of attitude and no sense of professionalism. The lady acts like we customers are there for Begging. If you want you hotel to run better, you better change that naga lady or else you'll lose many genuine customers.

The hotel is worst i have never experience before. Price is too high and not clean. They should look after it.

Affordable and easy to access place near dimapur railway station ..

This hotel is just a few meters walk away from Dimapur Railway Station. If you have a late midnight train journey and need to rest, they have 24 hrs service available. There are multiple choices of rooms, from single rooms with shared bathroom to deluxe rooms. The staff are courteous and attentive. The rooms, bathroom and linens are clean. They have a restaurant as well that serves good food.

The hotel is good and clean. Price is also reasonable. Just opposite the railway station. Value for money. They have an in house restaurant as well....

I have give a the ratings very thoughtfully with my on ground experience in Jalmahal. Though they have the greatest advantage of being closest hotel to DMV RLY STN, but there are certain shortcomings I want to address. Following are goods /bads about this hotel:- 1. Staff. Well mannered, helpful and most of all GENEROUS. I've seen staff, but these are wonderful. 2. Elevator. I found there's no elevator/lift in the hotel. You have to carry your heavy baggages all the way through stairs upto the floor you have been given with. This gave me first "chick chick" sound inside. 3. Rooms are well maintained and cleaned especially TOWEL and that gives a first hand satisfaction. But the remotes of TV, Dish & AC was dirty. Battery was not replaced due to which I could not use AC. Moreso, I was expecting a soap for hand wash but unfortunately I was compelled to use mine. 4. Beverages. Too short in the list. Few cold drinks are available but not at a wider choice. If you are thinking to get refreshed with a lemon or citrus juice after a long tiresome journey, you'll be disappointed. 5. Food. Food was well cooked and served (covered); maintained a good hygiene. It was tasty and "MANBHAVAN" 6. HELPFUL STAFF. I left my JBL bluetooth speaker in hurry but the staff kept it safely till my chap arrived. I am so delighted and thankfull for this generosity. Overall a Good Experience.

Not good timings are very bad .i checked at 3 am and they told me to check out at 12 noon same day ..

First of all the staff are terrible ! Especially the the lady that sits at the restaurant counter she has a attitude problem i now know why it usually stays empty ....the place its called three star but their ambiance and service is minus 5 star. I went there to get food for my family from the restaurant but they were not even polite and responsive but the attitude of the naga lady thick me off so i walked away. That place should be shut down ! Officers like us don't deserve that treatment ! I will never recommend this hotel or restaurant to any of my family or friends Good day !
