The best part about thus placr is that its in the city centre and everything is in close vicinity, including the ghats, city palace, market , lake side. Stayed with family for 2 days in Aug 2022. Booked offline for Rs.1800 per night for a double room with extra mattress and without breakfast. Room size was good, almost 12 by 16 ft. with sitting arrangement, working desk and mini fridge. Service is fast, staff is polite. Food is also good specially we loved their tea. Hotel is in a wide lane near railway station with parking on the road in front of hotel. Lot of good restaurants are nearby like Gordhan Thal and Natraj restaurant. We are happy with the stay and would recommend this hotel.

Room was average but the prices were high, 4400 bucks per day seems like very overpriced. May be due to the peak season. Bathroom conditions were bad, taps were leaking, cheap toiletries given.

It is very good hotel for stay. I stay here with family from 8 to 11 Oct and it was nice experience. Pros : 1) Hotel manager and staffs are good and friendly. 2) They are knowledgeable and their excellent guidance saved my 5 hours. which was to change my train boarding from Udaipur to Chittorgarh. 3) Hotel Room, Bed, Furniture and curtain are very nice. 4) Almirah and drawers are very spacious and enough to keep all belongings. 5) Food are very tasty and delicious like home. 6) Room service is also good. 7) They also don't charge you for minor things. 8) Location is also good near by Railway station. Cons : 1) Transport Touring service (which is external car touring service) is always late by at least 20 to 60 minutes. So plan your local/outdoor sight seeing timings accordingly. 2) you have to also guide them(transport touring service drivers) for best routes and sight seeing spots like outdoor mount Abu, Kumbhalgarh places.

Jagat Villa is a very good budget hotel. (1) It's a new property. Our room was clean. Bathroom was also good and it had very nice fittings. (2) Offers very good complimentary breakfast. They have limited options in their menu but food quality is very good. (3) Staff is very humble and cooperative. (4) All must visit places of Udaipur are at walkable distances from the hotel. It is located very near to both central bus stand and Railway station. (5) Best thing of the hotel is the mattress. It offers utmost comfort and very nice feeling. It's neither have amenities like a 5 star hotel nor have amazing interiors but still it offers a great quality stay to it customers. I highly recommend this hotel. Would love to stay again on my next visit.

Pros- 1. The hotel is very near from the central bus stand and just opposite to railway station of Udaipur. 2. Most of the tourist places are at walking distance from the hotel. 3. Nice food 4. Good cleanliness 5. Nice washroom Cons- 1. Poor service quality. Room service staff most of the time forget the orders placed. 2. No warm water between 23:00 hrs and 6:00 hrs 3. Frequent power cuts

I have stayed with my friend for a weekend and honestly I am so happy we found this place.Prices are excellent and the room was lovely, with comfortable bed and bathroom was very clean.We tried food room service as well and in 20 min was delivered to our room! Hostel staff with manager is very nice and friendly. So happy with our stay . Overall I had best stay in Udaipur!!! and definitely will back there and will recommend this place to everyone!!:)

I had a harrowing experience with Jagat Villa. Pathetic conditions and indifferent staff. _ My trip started on a bad note as I had booked my room through a local friend who keeps giving them business but at the reception they refused to book me on the rate agreed with my friend. Even the owner refused quoting the busy season and that nowhere in Udaipur this rate would be available. Totally unprofessional attitude as a room booked in advance cannot be denied at the agreed rate just because now he feels it can go to another customer at a higher price. Issue got partially resolved (plan changed to one with only breakfast instead of the earlier offered with breakfast and one meal) only at the intervention of my friend who called to remind him of his commitment. But the attitude of the owner was as if he was doing a favour. I had to accept as I could not start looking for a new place at that time after arriving with family and bag & baggage. _ The Moment we entered the room I noticed stains on the bed sheet and asked for a linen change. The room boy (no proper housekeeping) came and argued that they had changed in the morning. When I showed him the stains and refused to accept, he reluctantly changed but maintaining all the time that the linen was laundered and it was coming that way only. The fresh one's he put were also stained (less though) but since I had seen it come laundered and folded I had to accept them. _ the sofa set was also stained but that probably was beyond their perception of understanding that it could be unacceptable to anyone. _ The room did not have basic amenities but that could be due to the economy package, but since the showers had issue of very low water pressure I asked for a bucket (there were none), the room boy very reluctantly got a sad looking one. _ we asked for lunch from room service and they replied chicken would have to be bought from the market so it will take time (this presumably when they were overbooked). _ At the time of departure the room boy took some of the luggage and left it on the entrance (did not bother to help me in loading) but lingered around hoping for an additional tip. Due to my overall bad experience I did not feel like rewarding him for bad service. When we left for my next place in the road trip, I realised I had left my jacket at the hotel. When I called them up, the receptionist after enquiry responded that I did leave it, but the boy had handed over to me on departure. .. which I know was not true. Any amount of reasoning with the receptionist or the owner did not make them understand that since he agrees to seeing it and I have not received it then it must still be with him. So eventually I lost the jacket too. .... Totally unprofessional attitude, pathetic service and indifferent maintenance. A place to avoid.
