Hotel Hilltop - Hotel in Shimla - Shimla, India

Never book . have never stayed in hotel like this before. Following are the problems that I have faced:-1) Room was damp and stinky. smell was very bad. I got elergy.2) Floor was wet throughout my stay and felt like glue has been spread all over (Kichad jaisa)3) Water was dripping even from Side walls after rain 4) Water was dripping from toilet ceiling5) water was all over the floor just outside the door after rain, making it difficult to even step outside6) poor ventilation and drainage7) denied to change the room.8) hotel is 4 floors above the road9) curtains looked like they got fungal infection.Overall very bad experience. you may get a little better room if you are lucky enough.

Overall experience from check-in to check-out was flawless. I had booking on 2nd june. Stay was amazing. Mr Praveen verma (owner) is very humble person. He assists 1st time visitors as family members.. and told me planning and exploring shimla for the next day. (a pic clicked with him is attached) I called him upon reaching and he gave me advice to reach the address and sent a boy to carry my luggage to hotel room. we had kids with us.. and they gave us family suite which had two rooms inside one room, to cherish some private memorable moments. The hotel is located nearest to every famous attraction like mall road, ridge, christ church, railway station too. some people gave negative reviews because we need to climb about 50 stairs to reach the hotel, but you can't complaint as shimla has hilly terrain. and to get amazing valley view this is worthy. I was very happy also this is a verified go-stay and budget friendly as well.

The hotel is located at a decent location on mall road. The Mall/Ridge is approx 700m from there. You need to climb a 60-70 stairs to reach at the property. The staff is friendly and polite, they helped us guide to the nearby bus stop upon checking out. They do ask you if you want to book a sightseeing package whenever they see you going outside, but that's okay I guess. The room was spacious but could have been a bit more cleaner. The hot water/wifi was working fine. Overall a good experience.

Very bad Rooms, no cleaning and unhygienic, even no any Fans are there in our two rooms. And rates are high I really don't suggest this hotel

Hotel Hill Top is 3 Star Hotel very nearer to Shimlla Railway Station & it is about 700m from RlyStation. Hotel Staff are very good & very oo-operative & Thanks to Staff who provided me Car Pickup & Car Dropping at Free of Cost in both way from RlyStation to Hotel. 24hrsWiFi,24hrs Hot Water & Room Services are very good. Even though Catering Hotels are at Far from Hotel, they provide Free Room Service of all Break Fast,Dinner & Lunch At the outmost Hotel is Very Good for Family Staying

Please keep in mind before booking this hotel that you have to climb up or down a number of steps to reach as it is situated in between two roads and that close to mall road is upstairs. Every time you leave the hotel is a tedious job to reach mall road specially if you have luggages. Only top floor rooms have mountain view. View lower floor rooms have been obstructed by other constructions. Otherwise rooms are good & specious with attached bathroom having hot water facility. They dont have lunch/dinner facility of their own but can arrange from nearby with 30/- delivery charge.

Room are of good quality. Service is good. A bit costly though.

Nice Hotel, helpful people. Neat, clean and spacious rooms, Bathroom also big & clean. Location is also walking distance from Mall road and also if you are coming by local bus from ISBT Shimla you can get down at Victory Tunnel and few metres walk. I think it is better if you call Hotel if you coming walking and have luggage they can come down to help you as it is little steep the main Hotel rooms
