Hotel Gulmarg Sahara - Hotel in Gulmarg, Forest Block - Baramulla, India

I recently stayed at this hotel during my trip to Gulmarg and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The hotel staff were extremely hospitable and made sure that all of my needs were met. The room was comfortable and they provided me with heating facilities, which was a big plus considering the cold weather outside. The dinner served at the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious and one of the best meals I had during my trip. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Gulmarg and looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I had a great stay here! There was electric blanket and also a small electric heater given. The room is warm and cozy in itself. The owner was polite and helpful. The view from the room is also beautiful. They have a really big geyser installed so no problem with hot water availability. It's around 1km from Gondola Counter. But close to main market and taxi stand. The food was also good. I had a great stay here! Will definitely visit again! There is a bit issue of electricity since ethere is no generator. Everything else was great.

1. No one picks up intercom on Reception and Restaurant. 2. The bed warmer does not work 3. Booking voucher mentions toiletries and mineral water but the manager refused to provide mineral water. Toiletries not kept in room. Towels not kept in room Rooms are well furnished and the location is excellent, but no way to contact manager or housekeeping staff for above issues

I recently stayed in this houseboat on 23 Dec 2022, and it was not a good experience of my entire Kashmir trip, this hotel is far away from the Gondola Origin point and situated at parking lot of Gulmarg. Your driver may make you fool by saying your private vehicle is not allowed to go to the Gondola point and will ask you to take the local taxi, do not fall in that trap. Hotel does not provide proper hot water and food, room is just okay, okay.

Even though the temperature dipped to -15 by night, out stay was comfortable because the amenities kept the room warm. Rooms are small but sweet. The staff is humble and very helpful. Food is tasty. The Gandola point is at a walking distance. The view is breathtaking.

it's a shabby hotel right near Market of gulmarg. not atall clean rooms. they don't do room service except water jugs. there is no such concept of 'clean my room'. if you are there for 2 days, make your own rooms before you leave. room heater is available only for 2hr throughout day/night. keep in mind. use it carefully. heated bed has direct connection. no on/off switch fot that. I mean switch is there but of no use. few rooms has geyser not working atall. we changed our room for that reason and landed in another worst room has no curtain in toilet window. God only knows when they changed their linens, blankets, cushions, curtain etc. carry your own towels, bedsheet for better hygiene. food is good. they serve limited food but tastes good atleast whatever I tried. don't be rebel, you won't get food anywhere in night. just trust on them. it's a different world when sun down. forget about hotel enjoy the outside beauty. you will forget the hell right the middle of heaven. staffs are gentle and polite. poor them. nothing can do if the management doesn't improve.

A very good experience here with good view rooms, supporting staffs and delicious food. It's near the main market, so access to shared cabs ia easier. Had taken with dinner and breakfast. Very nice unlimited food... Rooms and bathrooms were clean. All rooms have heater and electric blanket but heater will be on only for 1 hour. There should be a phone and Generator. Apart from this.. The stay was awesome with good hosts

Nice location. Nic food. Nice staff. Nice rooms but the heaters were not working due to low voltage making the rooms colder during winter months.
