Hotel Grand Khalifa - Hotel in Jaisalmer - Jaisalmer, India

Stayed there for 2 nights with family. It is right in city and near to Jaisalmer Fort. Every place is walkable from here. They upgraded us to suite room. And room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. They have awesome terrace sitting with great view of fort and city. They have limited staff. Food buffet has limited options. They are not punctual with their buffet. Have no tandoor. Very small and limited menu. But staff is polite, humble and very helpful. Objectively this hotel would be 3-star. But they have made huge effort to make our stay pleasant, therefore giving it 4-star.

One of the best - if not the best - hotel in Jaisalmer. Only 8 luxury rooms with all conveniences (the only problem was the internet in our room). Super-clean: an oasis in this dirty town. Small rooftop pool. Good rooftop restaurant. Super-friendly and helpful staff. It was rhetorical perfect place to be. Really hard to leave now!

Very difficult to fault this hotel. Rooms upstairs around the swimming pool (which I think are the various more expensive ones) are very much worth the extra cost. Beds comfortable, and they had already prepared the extra bed we'd asked for, which is rare! They were very flexible around checkout time as we had an evening train.

Magnifique hotel dans un ancien palais Maharaja. Les chambres sont superbes, la piscine tres utile par la temperature desertique, le restaurant est excellent. Le staff est aux petits soins et tres accueillant. Le safari est particulierement bien organise. Tout parfait!

I visited Jaisalmer from the US with my family in the beginning of August and had the pleasure of staying at Grand Khalifa hotel for 3 nights. From the moment we arrived, Khan saheb and his staff did a remarkable job and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The attentive and courteous staff catered to all our needs to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Our hotel room was extremely clean and comfortable. Meals were deliciously prepared. Khan saheb also arranged for sightseeing tours and served as our guide. The luxurious accommodation, coupled with exceptional service from the hotel staff, made our stay truly relaxing and memorable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality.

It is one of a gem in Jaisalmer. The staff is very courteous and are extremely responsive. The rooms are very huge and would definitely give a royal vibe. Khan Bhai is master at his skills. He is the best guide for the city tour and safari.Also a very good photographer too who doesn't hesitate to click number of pictures. I would highly recommend to stay here when visiting Jaisalmer.

Amazing stay. It's one of the best properties near the city centre and at a walking distance from the fort. Pros- 1. Easy access from the main road and easy access to the fort, Gadi Lake and the Puppet Show. 2. Great Hospitality and genuinely courteous staff. 3. Well designed and intricately planned rooms and other hotel amenities. 4. Great view of the Fort and the city from its roof top restaurant. 5. Lovely Buffet Breakfast. Cons- None I could think of. Thanks to the entire staff. Strongly recommend.

This is a gem of a hotel and Mr. Ali and his staff make this hotel feel like home. Stunning daytime and night views of the fort make this place so magical. The service is impeccable and the rooms and architecture is absolutely stunning. I would certainly visit this place again. Thanks Mr. Ali for making our stay so so memorable....
