Hotel Grand Central, Bhubaneswar - Hotel in Bhubaneswar - Khordha, India

A nice hotel, as they have described, just off platform 6. I stayed in 205. The room has an old world charm. Spacious with a high ceiling. Everything from lampshades to furniture to doors and windows, reminded me of government tourist accommodations from the 80s and 90s. When last have you seen painted wooden doors fitted with brass bolts in hotel rooms? I haven't seen it in years. If you are middle aged and nostalgic about the 80s and 90s, or you have fascination for things of the past, you will love this room. Otherwise, there is nothing to dislike. P.S - Nothing to do with the hotel, but people who decide to stay here should know this. For some strange reason, app based cabs/autos don't come up to the hotel gate for pick up. So if you book an app based cab/auto, you shall have to walk for 300 mts to Cuttack Road.

The hotel is situated at a prime location but is old and in need of maintenance. The rooms are spacious but beds are narrow amd rickety. Bathroom fixtures need to be repaired with faulty faucets being pretty irritating. Food is also ok ok. Service is good, with polite and well behaved staff

Great stay at Grand Central, it's about 150 meters away from the 6th platform of the Bhubaneshwar railway station. Neat, clean, super tidy wash area. Good food, decent prices, good room service and well behaved staff. Except for the extra soft bed which could get a little uncomfortable for some. Had 24*7 hot running water which is desired during your winter stays.

Complementary Breakfast was perfect. Stay was also good. But 12'o clock Checking don't suits Business traveller. So please provide bathroom facility for an hour and we will do check in after office hour only. Till the time you can keep luggage and can use room, no issue.

This is a solid consistent option with a great location advantage for train travelling.

One of the best hotels in the area. Located barely 50m from railway station. Food is very good. Staff was humble and good.

Overall a decent property, however the property requires a major renovation. Service isn't really up to the mark and Christmas decorations was overdone and weren't really esthetic too. The only advantage of the property is it's location. When you enter the first floor from the escalator a very unpleasant smell reaches you. Overall not a value for money hotel.
