Hotel Emerald Inn - Hotel in Munnar - Idukki, India

We have taken two rooms, that was not good. Behaviour staff's was good. I can't recommend anyone to stay there. The original and clear trip image was totally different. You cannot open your Windows, garbages are outside. No Fan, television was not working. The smell coming from outside. We left the rooms from early morning due to the bad smell.

This is really old property, proper maintenance required. Staff is very rude. No hot water provision even in this cold. Parking space is not available, you have to park on the road. Surrounding of the hotel is nit clean and smelly. TV was not working. Worst property not recommended.

Positives- Good food Polite staff Negatives- Pretty much everything else. Location- though it is situated in an accessible location, the approach road is highly damaged. Rooms- very old and poorly maintained. Linens were old and dusty They charged around Rs. 2200 per day in an off season. Definitely not worth it.

Rooms are quite good but it's not met my expectations. Hot water will be available only on certain timings like morning 6-9 that too it's not much, nothing like a warm warm water. If room are filled, then have to wait more than 30-40 mins to come. Beds are not cleaned and as it's always cold weather in Munnar, 1 normal bed sheet is not enough to bare that. Rooms starts from 2k which is really not worth for the room and breakfast available but have to pay extra for that. Not recommended for ladies.

Staff is very bad. While booking they told hot water is available but din't get it. Staff told we will get water late but never got it. Our whole day was spoiled as we could not complete sightseeing. Staff were very impopite and rude and were not ready to accept there mistake

Worst property in munnar. Stayed there after checking online photos which are totally fake. There garbage outside the window and bad smell coming from window. Staff are not polite at all. In the morning we asked for the hot water they said our heater is not working use cold water for shower. One of the member from our group got stuck in the bathroom for half an hour, they have to call mistry to open the door. Property is really old and not maintained. Not recommended. Total waste of money. Don't book this property at all.

Location is in the city but the road is not good enough to travel . There is no auto available, you have to walk 1km for the same. Standard rooms are in the basement and has a view of Drainage & Dirty pipes. Wifi absolutely doesn't work at all as we stayed their for 3 days and kept on complaining but the staff was quiet busy in giving reasons.

Bad experience. If any one is allergic to dust please dont go over there. Bed linens were old and full of dust particles. I sneezed a lot and I havent slept a bit. Breakfast is tasty. But only 2 items.
