We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Wonderful experience at the Ganga Aarti seeing the beautiful ritual at night which was organised by the hotel for us and went very smoothly - would highly recommend if you are staying here! Excellent staff to help as well! Also really friendly staff and good housekeeping service. Everyone was very helpful and the room was perfect for our stay.
The experience was great. Very close to the Ganga and received top notch service. Rooms were always clean and perfect. Complimentary services, breakfast, and staff were all great. Would recommend! Ganga aarti nice good service
Pathetic experience. Food was not good at all.Premier Room price is not more than 4K. They have deputed one person who will behind on you for review of 5 star. Breakfast is horrible. I strongly recommend don't choose such hotel only check the edited pictures in internet. Premier room they are charging Rs 14000 but the breakfast they are giving not more than Rs 100. Horrible and for me it's a scam.
One of the worst overall hotel experience ever! I will even label the place, including restaurant and food service unhygienic! This hotel should not be in business. I am also wondering how does this hotel have a 4-star rating and how and why they charge the money they do! The staff is very nice and wanting to help but have very poor training! Here is a list of problems I encountered or things that went wrong during my 2-night stay at this hotel. 1. Walking in from the front or the back of the hotel is a steep slope and no steps and represents a safety hazard! 2. We were two people and we always get two keys so we can go in and out of the room individually and independently. This hotel provides only one key but gave us a second key upon my insisting to have two keys. One of the two keys never worked and every now and then both keys did mot work and needed reprogramming. 3. The room I had booked was a Premier room with Ganga view. The room was decent but the glass was very dirty from outside and hindered what would have been otherwise a very nice views of the River Ganga and mountains 4. The linens/hand towel/ bath towels were stained and looked dirty and even though they may have been washed. The bathtub looked dirty. The space under the sink looked dirty. 5. The hotel does not provide any water bottles although the majority hotels with 4* rating do. 6. Some outlets in the room did not work. Charging the phone was not easy 7. We observed couple of dead and couple of crawling bugs in the room 8. AC did not seem to work well. The temperature seemed to remain the same whether you lowered or increased the temperature 9. THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED DIRING OUR STAY WAS THEY DECIDED TO SANITIZE OR APPLY INSECTICIDE WITH VERY STRONG SMELL IN THE HALLWAY ON OUR FLOOR. THE SMELL WAS UNBEARABLE AND CAUSED SEVERE HEADACHES AND SHORTNESS OF BREATH. The hotel blamed someone and made silly excuses for the situation. They agreed to give us a different room on different floor and we're going to downgrade our room category but eventually decided to upgrade and put us in a higher category room 10. The high tea was in a nice room but ordinary and unhygienic. The person behind the counter touched food with his bare hands. He even wiped every single bowl in which he served food with what appeared to be soiled and dirty cloth napkin, which he kept in his pant pocket and wiped his own hands every now and then! UNBELIEVABLE! NEVER SEEN SUCH PRACTICE IN ANY 3-star hotels we have stayed, leave alone a 4-star hotel. It felt as though you were eating in a roadside dhaba 11. The restaurant staff on the 5th floor was good and the food was good in general but we observed similar unhygienic conditions. One of the restaurant employee used what appeared to be a dirty, soiled napkin to wipe dishes and bowls and stored it back in one of the cabinet drawers. Many of the dishes and cups were wet with water and many still had dirty stains inside. 12. Nov 12, 2024 Most hotels start breakfast at 7 or 7:30 AM but this hotel starts at 8 AM. The food was never ready at 8 AM. No chai or food was available until 8:20 AM! People were complaining but there was hardly any staff there to complain to. Many of the breakfast items were not even made available when we left at 8:45 AM! 13. It is very nice of the hotel to escort its guests for the Ganga Aarti at Triveni ghat. We were told to meet in the lobby at 4:30 but we did not depart until 4:50 pm. We just stood in the lobby waiting! 14. Check-out was horrendous. We were wanting to leave as early as we could. First the breakfast was delayed and then we had a problem at the check out. First the printer was not working. Later, the credit card machine was not working. The guy at the front desk did not seem to know how to use the machine. He had to call someone to learn how to use the machine. Initially he told me that my card was declining the charges but the same problems repeated with a different card! 15. The back of the hotel stinks with garbage
Very worst experience and marketing team always manipulate with the prices of room. When I booked the room they told me different price and when I reached hotel they asked me different price. There is one girl name vanshika asked me to pay different price when I reached hotel. And there is another girl i forgot the name of her . These 2 both are using false marketing practices to attract customer. Really very bad experience. Will highly not recommend it to anyone.
I stayed there with my family between 30 Sep 2023 to 1st October 2023. The only good part of the hotel is the staff that clean your rooms as they are polite. Worst is Dining area management which is in complete Chaos. Some "Mr. Pandit" seems to be the in charge there who is extremely "biased" and does differential treatment with guests. For a few, he will arrange plates (even for buffet breakfast), will ask for any further food items several times, will arrange hot food before they even ask, but for a few like us, he would just ignore as if he didn't even hear us or as if we are eating there free of cost. We were left neglected, ignored and on our own. The dining staff is extremely casual and least interested to few guests. We waited for 20-25 mins for our requests to be fulfilled(for chapatis) Complete chaotic environment in the restaurant. The red uniform wearing staff in restaurant is no different. They seems to have their own set of guests who they treat well and ignore others. We gave the same feedback go receptionist as well because we could not find any manager. There is nothing else to do in the hotel as they provide Ganga view only to executive class rooms. High tea is stale, tasteless and should be avoided. Ours was 10k per night yet the view was some junk lying there without any window. So unless you pay huge amount, there is no Ganga views. Expensive and avoidable.
EllBee Ganga View Rishikesh has extremely congenial staff through out all departments including the restaurant. The front office folks are very welcoming and always attentive. The hotel is close to Thriveni Ghat and our rooms faced the beautiful Ganga river. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the hospitality and the spacious and clean rooms. Food in the restaurant Sitting Elephant was tasty and portions were generous. Overall an excellent experience staying at this property.
This hotel is the cleanest Hindu temple, I have seen anywhere in India and one of the finest hotels I have seen anywhere in the world. Add to that excellent food and world class service. This hotel is a vacation in itself. Samesh
