I really was disappointed with hotel condition. The kind of rooms I got under royal category was questionable. There were lizards in "royal suite". Any request was catered to only after calling 2-3 times. Only and only plus point in the entire hotel was food and restaurant staff and nothing else. Water pressure in bathrooms on 2nd floor was too low. I otherwise never post any negative reviews but this experience was really bad.
Receptionist could have been more courteous. Rest all the staff are extremely hospitable. Nice location. Overall good place to stay.
Stopped in for a drink at Drifters Bar and got exceptional service and a very relaxed vibe. When I come back to Port Blair, I will definitely look at rooms for a possible stay.
Excellent food preparation. If you happen to visit the place please choose abhishek ghosh as your service provider( waiter) , he is skilled, better than people at expensive restaurant, additionally he brings better deals and offers with attractive discounts. I recently stayed at the Driftwoods, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The combination of a comfortable stay and a delightful dining experience made this trip truly memorable. The hotel's restaurant was a culinary delight. Every meal I had there was a masterpiece of flavors and presentation. The dinner menu featured both local and international dishes, and I was never disappointed with my choices. The staff at the restaurant especially Mr. Ghosh and Mr. Johnny were not only attentive but also knowledgeable about the dishes, making recommendations that enhanced my dining experience. The service was top-notch. The staff especially Mr. Ghosh and Mr. Johnny were friendly, courteous, and always eager to assist with any request. Whether it was providing information about local attractions, or ensuring prompt room service, their professionalism was commendable.
We ordered some drinks and food along with a SMOOTHIES. The smoothies' glass were 70% filled with ice cubes. We called a waiter and shown our concern. But his reply was ki , "smoothies aise hi Banta hai. Nahi pasand aaya to Nahi order krna chahiye tha". This is the second time I got problem with their behaviour and services. Kindly keep well behaved waiters, otherwise you will end up with a bad brand and gone customers.
Recently stayed but the overall experience is horrible service, washrooms not at all upto the mark, fans don't work (either at full speed or it's zero). Eternal Andamans booked this for our family but this wasn't expected. Very sub standard !!!
