Nice ambience. 24 hrs light music flows through the halls which is sothing Location is nice and things of basic utilities can be procured. The lady manager was very polite and the best thing are 1. Clean and spacious rooms. 2. Head chef is great 3. Breezy dining hall. Cons No in house laundry Buffet menu should be broadened
I wanted to give 0 but 1 is the minimal rating available. We stayed there for 2 days with family. Super ride Manager. Main door had a crack from which people from outside could easily peep inside the room. Totally stinking rooms. AC not working. Should remind the staff couple of times for each service. Blankets were not washed. Food was terrific. There was beeping sound continuously from the smoke detector and staff denied to change it nor to give other rooms. Please do not book this hotel. It is utter waste. Complete stinging hotel.
Hotel Dev Mahal is very nice hotel in Port Blair, Better room quality like Mahal type. All staff behavior and food quality are very good. Sea view rooms & Restaurant to saw Indian 20 Rupees North Bay Coral Island. If anyone don't see 20 rupees island so we're prefer this hotel. We're always recommended to our family & Friends. Water not available in some rooms and we were have to use another room bathroom. Also lift does not work properly. Breakfast is very limited and subjected to their choice not OURS. However hotel is cheap they tried to decorate very good and toiletries were also good. Also they don't accept credit card payments.
Worst hotel ever. Crack on the door. Smelly blankets. Unchanged water bottles. Average food. Non-cooperative staff. Need to remind them multiple times for any action. NOT A 3-STAR HOTEL AT ALL.
Asthetically designed interiors, good rooms, good restaurant serving good buffet food mostly vegetarian but non-veg also served. courteous staff, located on the main road not far off from airport. Chemist shop just opposite, good bakery nearby. Book rooms at least 2-3 months in advance. To enjoy Port Blair, use local transport buses. Autos are also available but they charge higher rates.
The worst place to stay. Food quality is so poor it is subjected to their choice. If you are having buffet Whatever you will eat in lunch you will find same thing in dinner with different name. However hotel is cheap and they tried to decorate .Hospitality's of the Dev Mahal is very poor.Their are many options available around 2 to 3 km area. Highly NOT recommended to stay.
