Hotel Atchayaa Chettinadu - Chettinad restaurant in Coimbatore - Coimbatore, India

I discovered this place while hunting for some authentic chettinadu cuisine. The biryani and soda hit the spot! The staff was friendly, calm and patient enough to give us our sweet time to decide on what we wanted to order. Along with the biryani, we tried some chicken starters, gravy and meals. The price here is justified. This has now become a regular spot whenever I'm in coimbatore.

Loved all the non veg food there..dine in is the good option... Kaldosai with kudal varuval was our fav on our visit... Biriyani lovers can try here for their authentic taste with seeraga samba rice...they do not use basmati rice, which is feel good for me as a food lover! Cost is moderate...overall good experience, not recommended to order online or take way, go visit them, dishes served hot will tempete one's taste buds for sure... In case if you want soup,do not try the soup, had a very bad experience in having the salty one, rest all dishes are really good.. thanks

Today went for dinner and ordered Atchaya special chicken. Chicken was served cold. When I asked the waiter he took back and reheated and gave me. It seems like they served already prepared and stored food. They just heated and served. Waiter was not interested in taking orders. Not even coming to our table.

Very good place have a South Indian style chettinadu items, all the items are tasty and well cooked. Items are rightly priced and pocket friendly. Staffs are very friendly and approachable. Service is very quick and efficient. You can follow Google maps to reach this place. Since this place is located in prime location, parking is bit tough, you can find a place to park near by and come.

Mutton kola urundai was my favorite one, prawn manjurian and mutton briyani was also very tasty and delicious!! Everything was worth the cost.

We ordered Mutton cola which costed 50 rupees per peice , but they had one condition one must buy a set of 3 mutton cola , Single mutton cola can't be ordered and mutton cola was not Deeply fried poor taste. Secondly Item here are overpriced we ordered Egg biryani which costed us around rupees 175 which i think is gradually high for a biryani

It's authentic coimbatore Briyani excellent. Starters had moolai, mutton kotthu and kudal it's good taste. But disappointed with white rice since chicken and mutton gravy was not upto the mark.
