Hotel Ashok Residency - Hotel in Chennai - Thiruvallur, India

I stayed with my family for 2 days. The hotel was good and worth for the money. We really enjoyed the food there, its very nice. The staffs are very very helpful. During the check out time we couldn't get uber or ola car due to peak hour immediately the front desk arranged a car coz we are getting late to catch a bus to Coimbatore. I have a wheel chair bound son whom diagnosed with muscular dystrophy. During loading the bags and carry my son to b seated in the car there is big group of hotel guest arrived at the lobby and we missed out one of the important bag which contains family passports, oci cards laptop, I pad, amount of money and most importantly my son's medication which can't get easily. Once we arrived at Koyembedu bus stand and upon loading the bags into the bus, We realize the bag was missing and I immediately called the hotel. Mr Vijay attend the call and verified the bag was there and I ask him to help to arrange someone to deliver the bag. He said he will courier to me tomorrow as there is no staff to help as he is busy and can't leave the hotel. I told him inside have laptop and my passport and will pay him but still he insist he cant leave the desk coz his duty will finish soon he is only one there. And then I ask him to help coz inside have my sons medication. The moment he listen my son's medication, he ask me to pass the phone to the driver and the driver told him he will be at one point at that particular time and ask him to hand over the bag there. Then the driver pass me the phone, Mr Vijay told me "Sir you don't worry, your bag will be delivered at that point believe me". Such words really ease my worries and tension as my flight to Malaysia in two days time. He made his words and waited for us to deliver the bag even before the bus reach there.He delivered the bag with all the things are in tact.Mr Vijay is a hero in my life and really appreciate his help without any expectation. When I offer him an amount of money he dont want to accept it and asked me to take care of my son first. Such a wonderful person, God bless him always . For me he is an asset to Ashok Residency. Hello out there!! We had our baby shower event at Hotel Ashok Residency and we are happy with our decision. Manager, Johnson was really helpful and guided us throughout the entire process. The food was awesome. We are really satisfied with the place, decor, car parking, rooms, housekeeping and their services. We would highly recommend this place for upcoming events. Best wishes to the entire team!!!

Food quality and tastes are very good. Especially Chinese foods have been customized according to Indian tastes, which are excellent choices. The cleaning process and staff are really decent. Rooms are OK types, not that great. Overall cost is also placed at a decent price (mid range segment)

The suite room.......costs 4500 bugs? Stay was miserable. We need to inform early for hot water and only then they shall open. "ALEXA, PLEASE OPEN THE HOT WATER TAP????" The mini Electrolux fridge was not working and upon complaint it was removed with noreplacement!!!! No door mats for the toilets. The out side temperature was lesser than the inside temperature despite the airconditioning running. Would not entertain this property to any of my friends.

Stayed here twice... Good location.. On the highway itself.. Neat rooms... Price little high

excellent stay here. this has been almost my 3rd stay in the hotel when I visit my office. I strongly this hotel when you want to stay for longer time. Service is very good.

Good hotel to stay...nice and clean room...House keeping staffs are courteous and services are quick.
