Hotel Arunik Inn - Hotel in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights, and my experience was extremely disappointing: Despite booking a non-smoking room, I was greeted by a strong cigarette smell upon entering the room for the first time. The presence of cockroaches throughout the hotel was alarming. When I requested a room change, I was informed that no other rooms were available, and I was told to "get adjusted" for the night. Unfortunately, I did not receive a different room the following day. To make matters worse, I was charged an exorbitant price for this subpar experience. Additionally, it's worth noting that housekeeping services were only available during the day, which limited the convenience of maintaining a clean environment. Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel, given the multiple disappointments and inconveniences I encountered during my stay.

Me n my 3 besties had a great stay at ARUNIK INN. The staff were very co operatives, rooms were big and neat. We are really happy with their services.

This is an excellent option if you are looking for a budget stay. Located at a central location in white town. Easily accessible. Best thing about the place is their hospitality especially Bala and other front desk staff. Enjoyed the stay here.

The place is just 900m from the beach and also close to the bus stop. This place does not have a lift hence carrying luggage may be a bit tough. The room, linen, washroom all are tidy and well maintained. The hotel is safe at all times and the locality was also good. The owner is very very cooperative and helpful. The service staff is also courteous. They allow food from swiggy Or zomato and serve you with plates. There are some good food places in the same lane. One of them is a dhaba and you can rely on this for both lunch and dinner. You can ask the reception guys to help you to get scooty on rental basis and the same can be parked in front of the hotel. The overall experience was nice and hassle free.

Decent place to stay. Mostly, my place of stay when in Pondicherry. At times, small roaches in the room, I had seen but was mentioned to the owner who had their rooms fumigated post that. Double, triple and group occupancy rooms available. Sadly, no food served here.....

We were all girls, staying in for 2 nights and 3 days, the staff, specially Bala helped us freshen up both before and after our check-in and check-out, the location is near to the beach, highly recommended! Thanks to the team again:)

My friends stayed here on 29th July 23. they faced electricity issue. Power went off by somewhere around 3am early in the morning till 10am in the morning (which is almost 7 hours)and there were no generators or powerbackup. Were they charged for the whole night and no refund was done for this. Really not to be appreciated for this action of them. Too disappointing.
