Our experience in hotel anchorage was outstanding..... the hospitality of staff was amazing ... would definitely recommend the place to everyone. The rooftop restaurant has a breathtaking view and is perfect for an outing with friends or family. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our food here and it has become a must visit whenever we go to Chandigarh.
Had a family visit and was awestruck by the beautiful theme of ship and sea voyage ...the food the fantastic, corn snacks being my favourite... the low lighting, open sky and rooftop view was perfect for family dinner. The place is kid friendly and staff was really good and helpful.
Phenomenal place with extremely good food ....even a simple dal is finger licking yummy .. the restaurant theme is based on sea voyage and they have displayed real ship parts including an anchor displayed right in front of the entrance . We had a great family night out on rooftop restaurant ...the ambience was superb.
Went to Chawala's 2 or Anchorage in kharar for dinner with family on my recent trip to India. Food -- Nothing so special about food. Same taste as you would find any where. Tried Dal tadka , Dal Makhnai, Nonveg platter, Butter roti. Taste for all the food was normal, nothing much special. Yes food was non spicy as less on Masala's. People who love little spicy may not be happy with it. Nonveg platter quantity was good. Most Imp -- ONIONS GIVEN WERE STALE NOT CUT FRESH. Appreance/Ambience -- Appearance is fine from Inside. Not a big parking lot but can accommodate 15 max 20 cars at a time. They need to work on outside of the Hotel/restuarant the floor out side is broken (pictures attatched) Ambience is nice, they play light recorded music. Service is good. Washrooms were clean. Price wise also it's not too expensive. Over had a satisfied experience, but yes if looking for normal less spicy Indian food, then recommend. But if looking for something special in Indian food then can try some where else.
Such a rude attitude in hospitality field... I asked to book a table since its my b'day today and asked for a table by 9:00 pm and the manager straight away said no! We cant take booking after 8. I insisted him, its my birthday..he again said No! This is how they are welcoming to guests!!! Never go there!!
I advise to all the visitors to this property...before ordering drinks plz confirm the extra charges (soda, juice, ginger), they give you option like the additions in drink is free of choice. Hospitality is very bad..food is good. The waiters will try to cheat you in bill. Plz take care.
Hotel is quiet good and cozy but location in rainy season is worst. It's very hard to reach and checkout in rainy season. Water will stay for at least 2 - 3 days if it rains heavy for couple of hours. You wont be able to checkout.
Hotel Anchorage on airport road. Ambience of roof top restaurant is awesome. clean and beautiful place. We went for dine in. We ordered farmhouse Pizza and mocktails Kala Khatta and Guava drink. It was tasty and pizza was also fresh and good in taste. Staff is really cooperative. Found this place reasonable for dine in. Would surely recommend.
