Decent hotel at a good location in chennai We stayed here for a day . Rooms were neat and decent . Had all major facilities . But i had difficulty in finding the hotel .Though it was just next to the main road it dint have a name board or anything of that sort . Location was good cz it was so close to the city and other places where i had to go. Staff behaved well and did everything we wanted. But the glasses kept in the room to drink water had a foul smell . Also though the complimentary breakfast they provided ( they bought it from saravana bhavan) was good they dint provide tea/coffee with that. We had to pay them extra to get coffee with breakfast. People travelling to this hotel please note that they don't have parking facility .

The location of the Hotel is near to the beach. Also the service is very much comfortable. Every people in the Hotel was pleasant and very responsible. I told them to bring food for me in schedule, they did it very good, morning breakfast was nice. Below hotel saravana bhavan is available, near to railway station, very near to U.S Visa office. Overall the people was very generous and good. Staying is nice.

A utilitarian hotel with good clean rooms and maintenance. They have no in-house dining. However you can just step outside to have a bite as the surrounding area has quite a few restaurants and take-aways for any time of day. They also allow early check-in and late check-out for a fee. You have to talk to the management beforehand though.

Good rooms and room service. Early check-in is allowed subject to availability at Rs 100 per hour. But the manager tends to try and slip in some cash by firstly denying and later charging extra for entitled things viz. breakfast etc. Deal carefully. Barring that the hotel does offer a pleasant stay.

The people working there were very courteous and helpful and quite nice. However the AC was not working in the first room, so i was moved. In the second room the AC controls wouldnt work. The Windows wouldnt shut, and they really need to work on their cleanliness. Done Website indicates that breakfast was free in-house...but they actually buy breakfast from somewhr else...so the quality is a little sketchy. On their site they promise a lot of amenities, most of which are not available, including wifi...absolutely terrible wifi...do not rely on their wifi

Hotel Anchor is a good place to stay. The room service is also good. Yes they do not have any parking space. But the staff is polite and rooms also are very neat and clean. The A/c's are old but they are powerful. We get hot water 24 x 7. They do have telephone inside room for room service as well television with lot many channels.

Though the staff were very polite and courteous the hotel was awfully managed. The rooms were charged for AC but only the blower worked deceiving the occupant to believe the room was air-conditioned. Poor maintenance. The Hotel management need to accord more attention to the room quality and maintenance which has deteriorated from what it was some time back.

Once I entered the hotel there was no water in the room .Then staff changed the room there little small drops of water was available. Then after refreshing I slept. By 10 am I found huge amount of water entering from opposite room to my room. My laptop bag kept aside has been drained. But reception told that they will resolve the issue. Later on day of vacating 11 am receptionist and other 2 stopped me from exiting and demanding for 25k for some loses occurred due to damaged or blocked drainage. Despite of argument i lost my flight to Bangalore. Drinking water not provided. Huge music noise in the hotel.Receptionists disturbing during my personal hours for unnecessary arguments.
