Hotel Ambika Residency - Hotel in Port Blair - South Andamans, India

The time we were here, the hotel was under renovation and hence we experienced a lot of inconvenience. The place is far off from anywhere. There are no decent restaurants around. Even for getting a cup of tea there are no places around. The restaurant attached does not have room service and works on a limited menu which is told verbally. The food at the restaurant is good though. The view from the top most floors are amazing.

Ambika was extremely beyond our expectation.It was really well maintained hygienic rooms and great hospitality service. We were worried about the service because i heard in budget hotels service will be low but Ambika Residency was Extremely good with their service. I must appreciate the staff they were so friendly and food was really yum i can never forget that fish curry. Overall i had good experience,worth of money.

Been there couple of times. Unlike other hotels in andaman I liked food here. Stuff was very good and service is excellent. I guess it's a 3 star hotel in andaman. One plus point is they accept cc as well. Can visit once or twice..

Its got good place, near airport, awesome view of janglighat jetty from 3rd floor, and front view is also good, nature is all around. Service is very good, rooms are clean and tidy have tv . They also offers bed tea. Food quality is great ,water quality is also good. There are cameras,so place us secure. Must recommend.

The rooms of Ambika Residency were neat and clean with good service and hospitality, the staffs were very cordial and helpful. My family were very happy with the service, though it was a budget hotel but the service rendered by them was equivalent to a star category hotels.

Not a place to book room if u r traveling with family... 1. Rooms are not at all maintained and cleaned 2. You will find bed bugs all over the bed 3. You can not have dinner if u don't order before 5 pm 4.No nearby restaurant to have food 5. No transportation available near hotel 6. No individual geaser available in rooms. You have to get out and go in balcony to get it. 7. No mineral water bottle available with staff and hotel restaurant 8. Room will be stinky always 9. Electricity issue is there. No inverter 10. Hospitality is very bad My advice , if you are traveling with family members. Do not book it.

Nice hotel, value of money, tasty food & cheap also, friendly staff with good information about Andaman and tourist places. I will recommend this hotel. And also very cooperative for late Check out. As per the price, the service is too good.

Actually zero rating... Bad service. No room service available when you needed. You cannot get a single cup of tea from them. In your absence they can handover your room to another person. And your property may in risk.
