Hosakerehalli Lake is basically a large sewage pit. It looks like the lake was rejuvenated sometime back but went back to bad state due to lack of proper planning on filtering the sewage. Some work still seems to be ongoing. Hopefully works will speed up and lake will be rejuvenated soon. Currently you can spot large flocks of Egrets, swamphens, kites, Herons etc. Large number of Cows grazing in the sewage waters, like Karma, the milk will come back to us.
It can be great place. Has great potential to be one of very attractive destinations in Bangalore. But politicians are just not doing anything to restore it. It became dirty place in the area.
We part of Yuva Brigade were there to clean the lake. It's polluted, we all joins hands to bring back to its original state.
No maintenance and every time our great politicians come up with new ideas for their vote strategies god knows when that lake can be used like many other lakes

In a pathetic state since long. Yet another lake destroyed courtesy BBMP and the Land Grabbers. Surrounding areas be prepared for flooding each monsoon.
Very nice place with scenic nature beauty .The three amazing skyscrapers are indeed a visual delight to the viewers.But the lake has really been neglected. No sought of development has been done it's been converted to a sewage. Lot 's of possibilities of a good tourist spot in the future but both the public and government need to work together.

A beautiful place which is clean and green. Walking path is wide throughout with regular sitting benches. There is play area, washroom, sitting benches with roof and excellent views of the water. You can find ducks and birds too.
