Hoodi Lake - Lake in Bengaluru - default, India

It is in not proper condition. Very silent poor planning.. Construction is going nearby this lake. Not good condition.

Very good lake but improperly maintained. Very good for some off-roading using cycling.

Hoodi Giddana Kere is currently, fully covered in water Hyacinth. Wherever you could see water, it is pitch black colour. Lake seems to be very polluted. Currently rejuvenation and cleanup efforts are ongoing. Should turn out to be a nice lake once it is cleaned up.

Nice location, though it's hidden and not maintained. Lots of constructions going on nearby. I hope this place continue to be it's existence.

This Lake is like a treasure hidden from cityscape. People who travel daily along this route wouldn't know such a beautiful Lake exists here! Despairing part is this lake though surrounded by prominent places like Sathya Sai Hospital, Benz, Mind tree, TATA Elxsi, only one publicly accessible road along FreshMart exists Route via Seetharampalya - Hoodi Rd publicly exists but closed for some reason! Lake is averagely maintained but the entry path seems messy and may look unsafe. But people around can visit atleast once in lighted times to stay relaxed at its Scenic Viewpoint Entry - Maintained from money we paid as tax (Meaning its Free) Preferred timings - Early Dawns and Dusks. Though I've personally enjoyed it's late night view reflecting stars helping me ease-out some tough moments )

Track needs to be developed and maintained properly and also the lake

Happy chathpuja here Hoodia lake. Very good place for spiritual. Hoodi is good place near by railway station.

In the midst of the city, there is very narrow access to this place...You need a 4 wheel drive during mansoon to reach near the lake.
