Hoodi lake seems to have been surreptitiously taken over by the electricity department. Unlike other lakes where we can see maximum 1 high tension line passing through, Hoodi lake has the rare distinction accorded by our generous electricity department to have 4 high tension lines passing through it. The ambience here should be electrifying. Some of the towers take up very large space in the lake as well. The walkway is gravel and pretty decent, some improvement efforts seems to be ongoing. Water quality is not great (looks great). Lake has a large flock of Little Grebes, you can also find Cormorants, Spot billed ducks, Eurasian coot, Kingfisher, egrets, Herons etc
Good for casual morning/evening walk/jog
Near our society there is no park for morning walks so this is the place s gud for morning walk

Good for walking. Recently renovated this lake for walking. Lot of high voltage line is crossing this lake. Not recommended for rainy days. Very peace and clean. Near Hoodi bridge ending. Over all good..!!

It just appears on Google maps actually it's now no more just a pice of waste land few dogs few bafflows here garbage dum. Some restoration work is going on but just seems an eyewash kind of thing. This lake is dead now as most of the lakes in Bangalore are .
One beautiful place ideal destination for cycling. Lake is not so well maintained. So it would be great if plp of that place become responsible n try to maintain n protect it . I could find many birds over der so a good place for bird watching too

A beautiful place which is clean and green. Walking path is wide throughout with regular sitting benches. There is play area, washroom, sitting benches with roof and excellent views of the water. You can find ducks and birds too.
