HOLYWATER by Ganga Kinare - Hotel in Rishikesh - Dehradun, India

A good hotel with warm and courteous staff. The service in the dining hall is truly based on Hindu Sanatana Dharma principles of eating a Sattvic meal, devoid of onion or garlic, based on a temple theme. The Ganga harathi is a real treat on its own private river front or ghat. Its proximity to AIIMS Rishikesh is another plus point.

One of the best hotels in Rishikesh. We stayed in a family room for 2 nights and everything was perfect. Staff is really polite and courteous. Food is really good. Overall a worthwhile experience.

We have 2 rooms booked for tonight 1 with road side balcony view and other without. Our experience has been fine, staff is courteous, offer welcome drink, it's small property, and they have [speciality] thali with flexibility to select from ala-carte options [ok-ok]. I wish they would have been flexible on offering in room complimentary water bottles instead of paid basis. This Hotel is near to Hotel Ganga Kinare (old bigger hotel on river aide) and belongs to the same group. All guest of Hotel Holywater by Ganga Kinare can visit Hotel Ganga Kinare for the facilities. Overall this property is good option, and over costly just like all hotels in the Rishikesh.

Thankfully we only had one night in this hotel, otherwise we wouldn't have seen Rishikesh: everything (service, rooms, food...hell, even the smell! is good). As far as I'm concerned, this should be a 5 star hotel. Thankfully, their price is way below what they offer. Truly a great hotel, thanks everyone for making our last day in India a little less sad

I have recently stayed in this hotel with family and it was worth it. I have no problem with any of these but i have cut 1star for the tax on all the bills. They put tax on each and everything from food to taxi services. I have travelled to most of the places but this is the first hotel have seen that they put tax on each and everything. I must say that their restaurant is very good and everyone has to try atleast once. Don't book services here ,you can just stay here and enjoy the ganga view from room.if you want taxi service then it's better to book from nearby taxi services there are many you will get very less comparitively.

Overall a good experience. Rooms were neat and clean. Bathing products were good quality wise. Since it is a small hotel you get lot of personal touch and your needs are taken care of. Three cons: 1) mentions shuttle between holy river and ganga kinare but there is no such shuttle. Although distance is less between the two hotels, with kids you have to travel at your own expense to avail facilities of ganga kinare2) Buffet breakfast has almost same menu everyday 3) No bisleri water is provided to visitors.Instead purified drinking water is provided in bottles.

Very memorable stay. Everything was good and at its place. They serve thali with different prasad of temples from different part of India. Very unique experience.

Best hotel I have stayed till date. We had a short stay with family and the hotel staff tried their best to give us the best stay experience. Free Ganga aarti and complimentary hi tea were some of the benefits they provided. Rooms are good too. Food was a overpriced. Room and customer service.
