Holiday Vagamon - Resort hotel in Vagamon - Idukki, India

I won't recommend tree house of this property. It stinks and has flies inside the tree house. My wife got a bite from honey bee . Over all below average experience on tree house. You guys can better go for rooms in this property.

Very beautiful property with clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet was very good with verities of South Indian dishes.

It's actually a great place to stay in vagamon, because of its ambience, they got the estates within the compound and the best swimming pool. The view is amazing. But the only thing is the food is pathetic and their rooms are not clean, even the suit rooms are very dusty and bed sheets are not clean. Maybe they can do better with their service and have more staff. And of course it can make the food better. In vagamon there is not much place to eat out, so with limited options you have to eat where you stay.

We have booked 3 Jacuzzi /3 Excutive and one cottage , jacuzzi and excutive room was good , cotttage was pathetic and When we get inside the room , Wifi , TV are not working. Door lock was complaint , heater was not working properly . Power was going on and off all the time.Too much time taking for each service asked.The dinner was worst, our kids are vomitted .but the breakfast was better . Pool view was very nice and they served tea/ snacks that was also good . Overall hotel ambience was good but the cost is bit high according to their service .

Our checkin date was Sept 30th for 1 day and 1 night. Rooms opted were glamping tent and executive room. Pros: 1. Executive room was good, nice ambience and peace. 2. Food was really good. 3. Swimming pool is small but have a good view and good experience. 4. Good view from hotel. 5. Staffs were really good and helpful. Cons: 1. Glamping tent was not worth for the money we paid, Heavy raining sound at night, some scratching sounds were heard from side of the tent. 2 Balcony had leaches.When we checked with them, they told its obvious to have leaches during rain.But to get biting with such an amout paid is not good. They should do something.Also next time pls alert the visitors about leeches as people coming from town were not aware of this 3.Way to luxury tent was slippery and is not at all safe.After dinner , we had to walk to tent in midst of tea leaves, that too with very low lighting seems a security concern. We have communicated both good and not good feedbacks to hotel during check out. So in total, opt for any other rooms other than glamping tent. Location and view is good.

It's cool, no disturbance, very very good tasty food. Staff simple and helpful Ambience cool and good Worth visiting and staying in nice peaceful naturally calm environment. Night life good with sounds of birds, insects, frogs . Nice feeling to be very close to nature

Night manager (male) is a jer*. (Very unprofessional) He is managing property since 15 years is what he said, due to which he behaves as he owns the property no respect, no timely service. Will give an example (when I ask him for a quarter plate first thing he says is why do you want it ) I called him multiple times for each request we made in the room. Overall, great property worst night manager (male) due to which services affect severely. All other staffs are professionals though

Stayed here with my wife and kid in Non AC Deluxe room this weekend. Room is good and provides a nice view towards the tea plantations. Walk through the plantation was nice .The property also provides great views towards the hills. Also has a good swimming pool and decent kids play area. Complimentary breakfast buffet spread was great and all items were nice too. The items we ordered for lunch and dinner were good too. Staffs were friendly and we're there to support all our needs. We would definitely recommend this as one of the best options for a 1 or 2 days stay in Vagamon..
