Yes, good food and clean bathrooms the staffs were so polite. The rooms were of good standards and the ammentiies offered were up to mark. The location is very nice and easily accessible to all the rooms.

3.4 Google rating is not appropriate for this hotel. Some reviews have been given for the Original Holiday inn that is located somewhere else (Havelock). This No Star hotel is located at Delanipur, Port Blair. It is near market and does not have Parking facilities. You need to go on the main road to access the restaurant of the hotel. Room service is almost nil as they would tell you the Chef has left the hotel. We had three nights stay here. On our first night, they provided all top floor rooms. And amazing hotel does not have Lift. The stairs and corners are dangerous, as anyone can slip and fall. So, seriously not recommended for Elderly and toddlers. On the first night, we had given advance order for dinner. Despite of that, when we went to the restaurant, we had to wait for more than one hour for our food. I would not complain about the taste of food, but the kind of service we got, made it pathetic. They do not even tell you while taking order if a particular item is available or not. When you have waited for quite a lot and make noise, then they will come and tell you that what your ordered is not being cooked. Like seriously!! The complimentary packed breakfast that they gave was bread jam and juice. We had to take it as we had an early morning ferry to catch. We left for three days and checked in again on 21 April 22. Again, we got top floor rooms. AC was not working in one of the rooms and no person was there to attend. Bathroom had stains. This night, food service was ok. The next day, we had enough time to have proper breakfast and despite of giving us the time that breakfast would be ready by 07.30am, Poori and Aaloo matar came on buffet at 08 am. Coffee was not provided with Breakfast. On the day of checkout, the hotel staff behaved really rudely and didn't allow guests to leave hotel and asked for extra payment for one night for one room despite the information being given to them through agent that one room has been vacated. Which hotel staff does that!!!! There is one Lady at the reception. She is really chaotic and rude. Even after getting this review, if you are going to this hotel, you should try avoid dealing with that person. It could ruin your whole mood and trip. This Hotel does not even deserve Status of 2* hotel. I have seen two star hotels with way better service. In my experience of travelling and staying in various hotels since 2010, I can say that this is the worst hotel (so called stars) I have been at. This hotel could be given negative rate for service and behaviour of staff Severely short staffed. Rude service. Rooms are ok. But, check AC and bathroom before taking the room.
