This is beautiful and quite property. The owner is so humble and helpful. Rooms, service, food, views; everything was so good. The property is very safe for solo travellers. It is 1km away from Leh central market. Their food is also good. A home like food at such height is rare, specially vegetarian. I really liked this property. Really friendly smiley hosts and there is a lovely front garden with seating. Our room was spacious and had nice natural lighting. They also let us keep our bags in storage whilst we did a 2 night expedition. Would highly recommend!
Just perfect! A short 5-10min walk to the main town but in its own private calm oasis with beautiful gardens, friendly hosts and the most comfortable, clean rooms with balconies and fully functioning AC and hot water. We had checked out a few guest houses in Leh and this was by far the best and most affordable!
Decent stay for the price. Rooms could be bit bigger, service can improve a lot. Good if you want a stay near main market on budget.
A home away from home. The people are friendly, beds soft, the food great (make sure to try the apricot jam with breakfast) and the garden tranquil (one of the few gardens we saw in Leh). We had started our time in Leh somewhere nearby but moved after having difficulty sleeping. We reflected daily on how good a move it was making the change. Upon returning there after hiking the Markham Valley the warm welcome (and plentiful hot water shower) made it feel like we were coming home.
