Himalayan Hill Resorts - Hotel in Pahalgam - Anantnag, India

Stayed in the Hotel for 2 days. Wonderfully located amongst mountains and rivers. Very comfortable cozy rooms with all required amenities. Friendly staff with Front Desk ably managed by Ubaid and Bilal. Always smiling and available housekeeping staff - Manzoor and Hamid. Good restaurant with great service from Nazir and Sohel. Will recommend to any friend and relatives planning to visit Pahalgam in future. 5 stars for everything that the Hotel provides.

Naseer who was available at the dining area was extremely courteous and very helpful. The place has a beautiful Mountain View and is at walking distance from the river. Good area to relax and enjoy casual evening walk. Travel to ABC is close from here. Highly recommend this place for a vacation

The location of the hotel is nice with good views however far from the main pahalgam. We had asked for front view rooms while booking and we were given the rooms on the top floor. Upon entering the top floor we found that the power from genset will only be available after 6 pm. Till that time there was no power for room heater or mobile charging. Only TV supply and one emergency light was on. During our first night stay, we were woken by loud noises in the room; only to find out a big rat in the middle of the night. We asked the receptionist for help in chasing out the rat and were successful in doing so. In the morning, hot water was not available; the tap water was freezing cold. The hotel staff helped us with a bucket of hot water. Later on we got to know that rooms on lower floors had geysers but top most floor did not. Even when there was no power supply on the top floor, the lower floors had power. The room heater in one of the rooms also broke down in the middle of the night and could be fixed next day only. The windows in the rooms did not have grills which may be a concern for those travelling with kids. Highlight of the place was food which was really delicious and hotel staff who were ready to assist in a moment's notice. However due to the issue of unavailability of hot water in the top floor rooms, issues with power supply & room heater and finding a rat in the room in the middle of the night, I would definitely not recommend this place and will not book with them again.

Very beautiful location ..The view is amazing from front side. Rooms.quite specious and staff is very very cooperative.. Restaurant is also good the staff there named Nazir provides everything with big smile... great place

Good hotel, with decent rooms, but a beautiful garden, only 3 mins walk from the river bank. The highlight was definitely the service and the food. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and although the menu was simple the food was absolutely delicious. Hats off to Mr Nazeer and Mr Aashiq who's service put 5 stars in our stay.

Pros: The rooms and overall interior are beautiful. The kitchen is like a cozy little cottage. The kitchen staff, Nazir bhaiya, was very polite. The service is prompt and they gave us an upgrade from double occupancy to triple which was a plus. Cons: The resort is towards the interior of the basti and not exactly opposite the river bank however it is walkable distance. There is no lift so the elderly should book the ground or first floor rooms.

Awesome experience staying at this property.We stayed for 3 nights at this property and staff has been cordial and proactive throughout.For us ,on the top of the list was the quality of food. Nazir is managing the restaurant very well.
