I did my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Goa in March. My experience at Himalaya Yoga Valley was exactly what I was looking for. From the beginning, the staff was very welcoming, open and caring. Everything, from the transfers from and to the airport and everything during the course, was well organized. During the whole month everyone was very encouraging and helpful. The teachers helped to build up my confidence to teach. The days were well-structured with enough time to reflect and work on yourself. The training gave me a good introduction into Yoga. I now feel like I have a good foundation to further deepen my knowledge in the fields of yoga I am interested in. I can highly recommend this school for anyone looking to do a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.

I did 200 hour yoga teacher training with Himalaya Yoga Valley in Goa. It was a beautiful, challenging experience. The highlights were the people I met (staff and teachers at Himalaya and my classmates) and of course the yoga. I went in to it looking for an adventure and to learn more about yoga, versus having a concrete plan to teach. Much adventure and learning happened! I'm planning to pursue teaching if only to share and pass on at least a few of the beautiful things I learned. If you love yoga, are up for a challenge, and are considering this course - go for it!

I had the most amazing experience of learning authentic yoga at Himalaya Yoga Valley. The teachers are very supportive and they ensure that their students leave the place with the confidence of becoming successful yoga teachers. The stay and food offered was great. I highly recommend this place.

Wow! Completing the 200 hour teacher training at Himalaya Yoga Valley in Goa was one of the highlights of my life. The town was charming and the accommodation and the food were excellent. Most of all the teachers and staff were phenomenal. Their passion for yoga radiates throughout the school and created such a welcoming and supportive environment. I plan to go back in some capacity in the future. I highly recommend Himalaya Yoga Valley.

It has been an incredible experience doing my 200h Yoga Teacher Training at Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre Goa. It has been an amazing experience during which I have learned so much about yoga and even more about myself. I am so grateful for all of the knowledge I've gained this month and even more grateful for all of the valuable relationships that I have formed with some incredible people (including teachers and course mates). I would highly recommend this course and if I, in the future, decide to further deepen my knowledge with additional courses, Himalaya Yoga Valley will be at the top of my list of places to consider!

How does one put a numeric rating on place that has become home and people who have become family? I sit here, unable to find the words to adequately express my gratitude for the time spent with Himalaya Yoga Valley. The journey that has been our 200 hour YTT has been nothing short of phenomenal. Centrally located in the beautiful Mandrem, offering wonderful rooms, the most delicious cafe, kindest of people, cutest of dogs, and authentic of teachings, Himalaya Yoga Valley has curated a truly transformative yoga experience. I followed my intuition and chose HYV as my school of choice as I felt they exuded a joyous, authentic, passionate approach to the yogic lifestyle - and that they did. Providing a holistic understanding and embodiment of what 'yoga' is, one comes out of this space with a deeper awareness of the eight limbs of Ashtanga yoga, including but not limited to asana (physical practice). This encourages graduates to practice and promote an authentic, wholesome yogic lifestyle and avoid the misappropriation and further colonisation of yoga. I am looking so forward to returning to Himalaya Yoga Valley to reunite with this global family, deepen my practice, and expand the Self. With love and gratitude, Guy.

In February I completed my 200 hour teacher training at Himalaya Yoga Valley. I would do it again tomorrow! It was an intense and rewarding learning experience, in terms of learning about myself and the wealth of knowledge we gained from the amazing teachers. If you are considering undertaking a training course in yoga, I highly recommend joining Lalit and all the team in this beautiful place.

I am grateful for having my YTT with Himalaya Yoga Valley in Mandrem, Goa, India. I browsed through really many schools and programmes around the world and still found this school convincing on different criteria. And my experience proved it was the right choice for me. The curriculum covered all major Yoga aspects with lectures, discussions, practical workshops and provided the framework on where to search further to deepen the knowledge of the Yoga philosophy. The teachers were genuine, humble, all to the point and great personalities. The whole attitude was about honouring the heritage of Yoga and yogis and intention to share and spread the philosophy and life style of Yoga. The service stuff was great, smiley, welcoming and fun to talk to. Asanas and meditation classes took place in a beautiful airy shala with a view into the jungle and sun reflections all around which was always a nice way to start a day with. The accommodation was nice and clean and authentic, so was the food. Beautiful and very clean beach is an easy walk away with some nice places around to chill. Village is small and you get to know with people around quickly. We, as students, were a perfectly sized group, sincere personalities, of different backgrounds, from different countries and of different age, but we got really close and were truly enjoying our moments together. The schedule was positively busy but you could still travel and look a bit around as per your interests. For me India has such a special vibe with stays within for long and calls to come back.
